That was not on your team last year.

I think the newcomers for LSU would be transfer RB Dillin Jones from Wisconsin and transfer safety Ty Benefield from Boise St for LSU. Both have been singled out by Kiffin as having amazing springs.

With the transfer portal being the way it is, it's tough to keep up with who the new players are on the other teams in the SEC.

Defense: KJ Ford. Freshman who will get a lot of reps rushing the passer this year.

Offense: I want to say Micah Mays because he seems like a stud, but our WR group is so deep that playing time will be at a premium for anyone not named Dallas Wilson, Eric Singleton, or Vernell Brown. So I'll go with Harrison Moore, could quietly be one of the better centers in the league this year.

Both freshmen.

Offense: Cederian Morgan, WR, will likely make an impact
Crowell also has a shot to be a good player NOW at RB

Defense: secondary is stacked, but I think Jireh Edwards is going to be too talented not to see time this year, at least in certain pkgs

Defense: Amare Campbell (All-conference player last year at Penn State, so already familiar with Knowles' defense)

Offense: Desean Bishop (Dark horse SEC POY)

Offense - WR Donovan Olugbode is a true sophomore who was very productive coming off the bench last year. He will become Austin Simmons go-to guy by midseason.
Defense - DE Darris Smith is a RS senior who has bided his time because of an ACL injury two years ago, and Damon Wilson and Zion Young last season. Smith is now 265 lbs and runs 21.75 mph.

ETA: Sorry, just read the headline. Both of the above guys were on our team last year.
Two guys that were not on our team that will have big years are Robert Woodyard on defense and Caden Lee on offense, until Olugbode takes over as Simmons top target.

These are the kind of players I usually root for when they aren't playing LSU. Sounds like it could be a great story if he can stay on the field.

I can’t on defense, all starters are home grown recruits and zero from portal.

On offense its 6-5, 250 TE Rocky Beers. All 3 TE’s will be good but I expect him to be the better one.

The 3 TE portal adds and any could break out:

Hayden Hansen (Florida): 6'8, 260
Rocky Beers (Colorado State): 6'5, 250
Jack Van Dorselaer (Tennessee) 6'5, 245

Shoot, my bad, I missed this part.

Other than what Che said, I'd add:

Offense – Josh Ford (TE), transfer from Oklahoma State
Defense – Xavier Griffin (LB), true freshman from Gainesville, GA

Offense: Johntay Cook (WR transfer from Syracuse). By all accounts he has had an amazing spring and is our best open field playmaker. Should be the starting slot WR.

Defense: Keaton Thomas (LB from Baylor). Over 100 tackles for Baylor last year (3rd in the Big 12). Will be a starter.

Keaton's a good call out. He's going to be a monster.

ETA: Why is someone downvoting the Ole Miss selections?

The obvious for Auburn on the offensive side of the ball is Byrum Brown.

On defense, I'll throw out edge-rusher Da'Shawn Womack.

Mad that it isn't another thread about Lane Kiffin.

Luke Firelli or Keaton Thomas at LB.
Significantly upgraded our biggest weakness on defense.

Johntay Cook at WR needs to have a big year to keep the offense humming but the defense will be the strength of the team.
