Georgia was the better team, but the SEC has to do something about its officials...

There were missed calls on both sides of the line of scrimmage that were pretty bad. If Georgia had ended up on the losing end I have very little doubt they'd be bitching about the officials, too. And rightly so. They made a lot of mistakes during the game. And it wasn't just with penalties, it was basic stuff like spotting the ball and keeping the correct time on the clock.
The performance of officiating crews in general has been steadily going down hill in recent years and no one seems to be willing to do anything about it.

For stating the truth?
They outgained us by over 100 yards, had more first downs, and more time of possession. In what world were they NOT the better team?

I for one can’t wait till the officiating is fully in the hands of autonomous robots. All AI. frick these goons making calls like the ones for Western Michigan.
All these gambling websites created from saudis and Israelis and basically any cheapskate desert dweller needing to fund their oil ventures has got to stop man. It has its fingers in everything.

I blame the bad officiating on the fact that the SEC rosters exactly zero women amongst its game officials.
It just seems so obvious. Right?

This league has enough money. They need to stop this part time officials crap and pay for full time people who train and study the rules in the off-season.

Great post. Don't disagree

Agreed, OP, the officiating across the board has been sub-standard for way too long and nothing changes. Too much money being made for this conference to be dealing with this level of incompetence year after year.
Unless of course they want it that way. Why we don't have full transparency on replays like other conferences is beyond me. Seems simple enough to implement.

Sad to see the REC go.

People have been saying that for decades the day after playing bama.
You just haven't noticed it because bama is usually the beneficiary.

A reasonable take from a gump. Perhaps we are in end times after all.

ALL FANBASES DEMAND OFFICIALS TALK OVER BROADCAST LIKE ACC AND BIG10

I 100% agree with this. It was nice to see the discussion/conclusion when I watched an ACC game.

THIS. Welcome to the club, Bama.

Let’s be real here, there will never be a time to stop trolling Alabama and LSU. Especially Alabama. That’s crazy talk. That rivalry will be until the day I die, but then my ghost would take over. However, I agree the transparency would be nice.

I didn't see missed calls on both sides.
Which calls were missed for Georgia?
Overall you can't let the refs decide and at the end of the day our own player gave the game away.
We had plenty of opportunity.
Just accept it and move on.
I also don't think Georgia was the better team. I think Alabama wins that game the majority of the time.
