While the 14 point spread is surprisingly close, we are looking at a decade straight. Crazy how one sided this rivalry has become

I can’t believe the spread is only 14, even if it’s at Auburn.

Auburn is far and away the worst team in the West.

Truly, truly awful.

If Dawgs lose Saturday, I am blaming you.

Too early for that statement

Let’s not get it twisted, I was definitely an Auburn fan last weekend, but that was just really hard to watch.

Should’ve kept TJ Finley, IMO.

What are the longest current SEC vs SEC streaks for decent teams?

You guys are +9 on Auburn
Bama is riding an 8 game streak on Ole Misses
Bama owned us for an eternity prior to '19 - maybe 8 or 9

A lot of that is related to the clock changes and UGA's penchant to sit on a lead when they feel comfortable. After going ahead by 10 with 9 minutes to go in the game, UGA only had to run 8 offensive plays to run out the clock. That wouldn't have been possible last year playing against a team that is running a hurry up offense for the last 10 minutes of a game.

UGA winning by more than 20 in the past was always dependent upon backups scoring, conservative playcalling still generating big plays or turnovers. They always went into clock killing mode when up by 17. With the changes to clock this year, that's probably more like 14 this year.

While I applaud this, the lesser IQ individuals on here think you have a 9 game win streak

We don't have a 9 game streak. We lost to them in 2017 and then beat them in the SECCG, so we have won 9 years in a row but not 9 straight.

Turns out dunking with facts isn’t against the rules, who knew?

Do you have your cigar ready in case Texas beats Kansas?

I know that’s a Texas Tradition whenever they beat a ranked team in the regular season

A win on Saturday and Georgia will tie late 70s/early 80s Alabama for most consecutive years beating Auburn.

Bama has a 16 game streak against Arkansas and a 15 game streak against State.

Obviously not all of those years have been great for either team, but there have been some decent teams fielded by each throughout that time.

Saban at Alabama hasn’t lost to Arkansas. Next longest streak is Miss St at 15 in a row.
