Uh, is this supposed to be funny, or did you just try your best to make a tasteless thread?

This is not correct. His legal team waived his right to a bond hearing weeks ago. Probably a smart move given it would have been rejected while generating more negative publicity about him.

I mean if true, then everyone in the world should know. I can’t believe Georgia is really turning into smaller version New York and Cali.

Unless you know something I don't, this isn't true.

Last I heard he was denied bond.

Recent news stories are about why he was released several years ago (this was due to a lack of detention space). Not about his current incarceration. You might be confused.

They couldn’t let out some shoplifter or a guy drunk in public to make room?

Blue state problems.

Seriously how is this a thing?

Texas is a blue state?

You realize this is talking about why he was released/paroled in 2022 when he entered the US initially, right? He's still in jail awaiting trial for murder.

The news is recent, but the event happened in 2022 when he crossed the border, he was released without bond due to overcrowding. This did not happen recently. He is currently behind bars.

I did. Everything I've looked up is from a day ago talking about he was released from Texas in 2022 when he was picked up for entering the country illegally.

He's still in jail in Georgia. I'm thinking you're confused. Possibly the media you're consuming is presenting it in a way to be intentionally confusing.

I edited my post.

Why are articles coming out in the last 48 hours stating he was released? Killed in prison I could see but it’s on multiple sites with multiple primary sources. I am assuming I am mistaken and already edited the post.

They should release him and put a bounty out for him saying dispose of the carcass accordingly.

I think his initial release by DHS months ago due to lack of space (which actually wasn’t the case) made the news recently because it came to light during the Mayorkas impeachment proceedings.

Rule of thumb in news articles-

Read it backwards from the end to the beginning. AP style calls standard news articles "inverted pyramid style" meaning the most important info leads, and the least important info at the end. Which means, these days, you need to read the articles backwards with our current state of journalism.
