Better competition? Yeah. Played better? Not really.
Arch has a Qbr of 67 compared to 90 for Stockton. Stockton has more tds, fewer turnovers, higher completion percentage, fewer sacks, more yards per pass attempt and better rushing stats.
Stockton is at 10.6 yards per pass attempt and a passer rating over 200. His only negative is he has 45 fewer pass attempts… because UGA has had huge leads in every game.

Using their stats this season against top 80 total defenses (thats the only way you can get 2 samples for Stockton)
Arch (tOSU and Tenner), has a 66.1 completion percentage, 396 passing yards, 1 touchdown and 2 ints (he should have 2 more touchdowns and 1 less INT if Wingo and Coleman caught their balls against tOSU).
Stockton (OU and Arkansas) has a 63.2 completion percentage, 318 passing yards and 2 touchdowns and 1 int.
Taking everything into account, I'd take Arch 10/10 times.

Neutral field I have Georgia somewhere between -3.5 and -5.5 against Texas.

You do know that Gunner runs the ball, too?
He is just better.
I dont blame you for struggling to see it. Gunner was the better QB last season. It was marginal. But he was more effective and efficient throwing and running.
I expect that Delta to widen this year.

I am about as big a UGA homer as you can find, body weight not withstanding, and would normally try to take some credit for UGA causing turnovers. Even I can't do it this week LOL. There was pressure for certain but the scoop and score was a OU TD 99 times out of 100 with a 12 year old taking snaps for OU. The second fumble was almost as bad although you will see idiots drop a ball from time to time trying to do too much. UGA probably played their worst game of the year against OU. Arkansas wasn't much better.

2 things can be true. UUGA normally doesn't normally set out to embarass anyone, OU did it to themselves. UGA showed them plenty of mercy by being pretty bad themselves during the game.

1 of the fumbles (almost looked like a botched snap) was recovered and they attempted a play.

I don't know about by 4 TDs, but Georgia would definitely be the toughest matchup for Texas to win right now.
Sark needs to fire himself as OC at Texas and hire a dedicated OC to work with the offense. The defense is pretty solidly coached by Muschamp and it shows. I don't think the offense is getting the same coaching and reps.
