That’s been my complaint about her style for years. She coaches to foul a ton in the paint and dares the refs to foul out her bigs.
They usually should be fouled out by the second quarter most of time

As others have mentioned, I don’t care for Staley on a personal level. Shes done and said a lot of stuff I don’t support. But Geno has been a dick for a long time - including against Pat. He thinks he owns this sport and can’t take anyone else invading his space.

Did she meet at at half court or not? I’ll say Carolina has been given the benefit of the doubt for years on being physical. That’s a complaint by every team for years.

All of the coaches met before the game and shook hands or hugged, including Geno and Dawn.
There was possibly a ceremonial handshake that Dawn missed, and Geno was upset for waiting 3 minutes. The fact that he coached a whole Final Four game and was steaming about THAT after the game is ridiculous.
