One of my many good memories of the series is post game of a LSU blow out in T.S. Six Tiger fans, all loaded, were beating the shite out of one lone Reb. Two BRPD officers walked up, started pulling the Tiger fans off the beaten-to-a-pulp- Reb. Who was promptly arrested for inciting a riot. But love the Jones to Davis TD with 4 seconds remaining. The memory of the entire Reb bench screaming & throwing their helmets all over the bench area, into the hedges. While Coach Vaught just stood on the hash mark just shaking his head.

On Cannon's run / Gibb's punt, the last Reb blocked on his run was my JV basketball coach years later. Every day at practice that week someone played the radio broadcast of the run. Coach just stood there. So we'd play it again. We did run a lot of sprints that week.

Just like in the wild, the tiger fans descended upon him and ran him through the parking lot. My friend said all you could see was the horn sticking up over the cars and when he would get to an intersection, you would see the horn look both ways trying to figure out which way to go before eventually being cornered with the crowd of tigers, chasing down the fat Tuba player.
