All on this board are victims, not just LSU. These excessive, gaudy, thoughtless expenditures are “accepted” by all in college football, especially the SEC and represent money that could spent more wisely.

The SEC head coaches collect a ridiculous $131 million/year. Another $270 mil for support staff. So $400mil total for “coaching”.

Americans work too hard for their taxes to be squandered (extorted) this way. Fiscal responsibility for colleges is no different than for the government. It is now time for someone to step up to create a more ingenious contract for coaches in which they can be rewarded but not allowed to extort. Maybe this is the time.
Bama still has the Red Elephant Club, the non-university affiliated player funding organization perfected by Saban.
Wow, you talking about winning at Baylor.

And Joe Biden should have been an astronaut.
Denbrock was the fortunate recipient of Jayden Daniels’ realization that he had to let go of the ball sooner and trust his receivers. Sloan was the mastermind there, not Denbrock. Denbrock won’t be missed; Daniels will be.
Forgot who that was. :dunno: :dunno:
On August 18, 2011, President Obama issued Executive Order 13583-- Establishing a Coordinated Government-wide Initiative to Promote Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) in the Federal Workforce, which calls for all federal agencies to develop and implement a strategic plan for Diversity and Inclusion. Private corporations were urged to do the same-and many did.

This concept, put into effect as a non-legislative presidential order, peaked in 2021, but companies have quickly grown weary of its effects. The results are that many have or are in the process of abandoning this concept. LINK
Texas A&M ceased theirs last year, and Texas just announced the termination of their DEI department as well.

Do we know the DEI status of the other universities in the SEC?

PAY. Smart learned from Saban how to pay under the table, has more resources than any one for recruiting- and uses them effectively.

He has not played at all, and is not on 3 deep depth chart.

LSU is loaded with RBs.

1. Josh Williams- walk on success story, dependable back, 100% effort, good pass catching, hard runner, fabulous person but average for SEC, which alone is impressive
2 Kaleb Jackson - great potential, may (or may not) turn out to be great, time will tell
3. Trey Holly-great potential, time will tell
4. Noah Cain- great effort, should may have considered linebacker early on, like Patrick Queen did when he switched from rb to lb
5. Caden Durham- looking forward to great things, maybe not freshman year

Diggs -gone
Emery- late season ACL, which recovery for rb is really 2 years

Loaded with backs does not imply exceptional or experienced backs. LSU returns only 1 back with appreciable carrys. With the portal, if 1 exceptional back becomes available, it would be foolish not to consider him(Judson), especially if he comes from a rival (Ole Miss). It’s guaranteed that Alabama would, and likely will-if LSU doesn’t jump in.
