fricking gauntlet never seen in amateur sports.

UA - Bohannon will recruit lights out and get Alabama back to the SEC and NCAA tourney. Who the hell else is temporarily bad in the SEC West? No one. It would be a good academic study for someone to measure pro-ball (single A?) versus what all the SEC teams see and play against in the SEC - East or West.

Alabama = on the come up
Arkansas = Good
Auburn = Good. Really like their HC
LSU = Good
Mississippi State = Good
Ole Miss = Good? Bianco makes questionable decisions but is an elite recruiter
Texas A&M = Good? See Ole Miss

ETA this division will be unreal in 2 to 3 years.

Trevor May (current Twins pitcher) has been very outspoken about how awful conditions are for players in the minors. College is only going to continue to become a more popular choice for the better recruits out of high school. A more interesting study to me would be why this hasn't translated to California baseball at all.

Is Trevor in the minors? I know he was dealing with injury for a little bit. He’s a cool dude

Hell the whole league, really. Florida, UGA, and Vandy are already stout and South Carolina has won 2 NC's and been to 6 CWS so you know they'll be back. Tennessee has been to 4 CWS so they have potential. The only 2 teams that really suck are Mizzou and Kentucky.

Mizzou was good enough to make a regional this year. They just ended up odd man out. It'll be interesting to see if they are on the rise or if this was an anomaly.

Kentucky looked to have been trending up the last few seasons, but really fell off this season.

Nah he's firmly on the squad now. He wasn't called up until he was 24, though and I think he had a short stint in AAA last year.

Yep. Mizzou was not bad at all. They have history of being good in baseball, a distant history, but a history none the less. We will see how they do next year but this year they were deserving a spot in a Regional.

Maybe someone other than LSU will be able to finally break through soon

Wouldn't it be some shite for it to be Auburn this year

UGA needs maintain their program instead of roller coastering like they've done for decades.

Fla will most likely be good in 2020. And we need Carolina to get up off the mat and push forward.

SECE needs to perk up.

C_iLd_Ess is not an elite recruiter nor does he have the slightest clue about offense or fielding.

There is nothing indicating Bohannon will make a great head coach. Bama baseball is basically Ole Miss football. They needed someone with experiance to build a program lacking any talent close by.

That is not Rob at all.

He's an elite pitching coach that develops extremely well. He recruits too many guys who gets drafted.

Ultimately, he outsources the offense to his 3rd base coach who hasn't come through enough. We're getting a new one for 2020.

Says the fan of auburn baseball. It’s like you forgot where you were at not long ago.

I’m going to trust just about any coach off the Cohen tree. He’s proven to be a good recruiter. And he’s working with a deck stacked against him. If Alabama baseball isn’t in a regional in 2020. You can call me out. I’ll deserve it.

If we can get some of our #2 ranked recruiting class for 2020 to campus then we could go on a run for a while. Of course our class ranked in the 40’s from 4 years ago actually turned out better than some of our top 10 classes so you never know.

The SEC Baseball Tournament is one of the best pure college baseball tournaments year in and year out. I never miss this opportunity to watch some of the best future MLB stars in a pure baseball atmosphere,
The SEC will continue to be the best minor league system for MLB development!!

It’s hard for Bohannon and Bama to make headway against the brutal west. Goff took the program out behind the barn and shot it in the head in his one disastrous season. So starting in a deep hole, Bohannon has to build a top 15 baseball program just to be competitive. Drop 2019 Bama in the Big XII or ACC and they are probably the 4th or 5th best team in the league. In the SEC, we finish tied with Kentucky for last. It’s gonna take time and patience and recruiting. Doesn’t help that our star recruit was a top 10 MLB draft pick and is long gone.

No one has said he will be a great HC. Considering what he inherited, he's done well playing in the toughest conference.

Other than this being grammatically awkward, that is the definition of elite recruiter.
