I know this is tongue-in-cheek, but I knew the guy. He was a good guy and fun to talk to. And forgot more sports than most ever knew.

Aaron wouldn't give me his autograph when I was a kid....brushed me off and walked to a waiting car where he stopped and gave autographs to a bunch of black kids....he lost me as a fan right there.
