That surprised me. Grew up in West Palm Beach where the Braves had spring training. I remember seeing him on the back fields watching the minor leaguers when he was with the Braves organization. He was always friendly and approachable. Just a few years ago, my son was working at a golf course where he was a member and Aaron always took care of the bag and cart boys.

You probably just had that racist look about you that some Alabama boys get. Sort of a cross between Alfalfa and the kid who played young Forrest. Not your fault. Some kids are just born to look racist.

Signed a baseball for me in an ice cream shop when I was a kid and I’m white. I think he just knew you were going to grow up a Bama fan.

I read a couple of books about the case. Total bogus reporting. I just happened to come across his name while googling something else yesterday.
