I watch 4 FSU shows on the search, all are in agreement, FSU does not have the money to spend large for coach and wants money for Nil deals more than a coach.

The fans wanted Kentucky, Missouri and one other coach in the ACC, all the shows said the money is out of reach of FSU.

The main talking point of the show was spending on players and not a high dollar coach.

Cover 3 had a good podcast on it

Honestly, I really don't see any big game coaches out there...the days of Nick Saban and Urban Meyer are gone

The game is changing, and I think it's more about spending the money to get the best players

FSU actually has alot of great options in this regard

Oklahoma might want to consider some of the options as well. I'm surprised Arkansas hasn't picked up on this...I mean look at the quick turnaround at Oklahoma State

This will be a curious search and hire. With the big 10 pushing for 49 million dollars in revenue share payments and other conferences likely to follow if that holds, it won’t be long before the coaching bubble bursts. Florida St is already hard up for cash and is considered a “big name” without major donor intervention it’ll be interesting to see who they have to settle for and what price.

The money problems are heavily overblown. They exist, but not near to the extent of what they're being reported as

FSU fired two coaches for less than one Jimbo

To be fair LSU was "broke"

They found a way.

Doubt FSU makes a splash hire though. Would guess a successful coach from a smaller conference.

I agree with you. How many "big game coaches" have even been worth the millions that were given to them anyway the last several years? Can't really think of that many.

LSU and Aggie fans should be able to beat the shite out of Woodward for those Fisher and Kelly buyouts.

I’ll do it. I coached 12 year olds before how much harder can it be. And I’ll do it cheap 5 mil a year and 20 mil buyout or they can just fire me now and I’ll take the 20 all I want is that sweet buyout money anyway.

You'd be retarded to give drink a raise.

We saved money by not buying a defense.

Charlie would jump up over Gus if we adjusted for inflation.

The cheapest one on this list is the only one who brought a title to the school that fired him. Kind of ironic.

How well do you think Oklahoma St would do in the SEC. You’re admiring the turnaround of a program in a much weaker conference.
