Im good with Arkansas to Big 12. Around here they scream money is the reason to stay but if you start winning in football, like TT, the money will roll in.
Basketball is top notch.
Baseball good enought.

This is not 1990. One run to the playoffs and money would start rolling for football.

I'd be okay for SC to go back to the ACC too. I'm not one of the old guys who remembers the former ACC days. We aren't even accomplishing anything in the SEC in either football or basketball. Not that we'd do better in basketball in the ACC, but I think we could be more than a .500 football team in the ACC in modern times.

This would be absolutely awful for all 3 of those schools. What exactly are their complaints?

This is offseason “telephone” bullshite. From the Florida and USC perspective, the only beef we’d have is discussions about bringing in Miami and Clemson which would be completely. They add nothing the conference doesn’t already have. If the conference wants to expand then North Carolina and Virginia are the states who we’d targeted.

Somehow some idiot has taken us not wanting to add ACC from our own states to the SEC and made that into a story about us going to the ACC for clicks. Can’t speak for Florida, but I can tell you there is zero interest from any alumni or fans of USC in going to the ACC. The old heads remember their bullshite and we’re going on 3 generations of fans that have either mostly only known or do only know of us being a SEC school.

Can’t speak for Mississippi State but they aren’t a cultural fit for the ACC nor do they have any ties to any school in that conference.

I agree with what you’re saying. If I was ranking programs usce would probably be 4th or fifth best acc football program, and you guys are probably 9th or 10th best sec football program. But acc and sec are apples and oranges. Acc is a 1 Maybe 2 bid league, the sec is a 4 or 5 bid league. The playoff path to the acc isn’t easy enough to offset the money you’d lose. Also the logo does mean more. How many recruits chose usce bc they’re a sec school? Maybe none but my guess is alot. I think it’d be a bad move.

Yeah those away games in Manhattan KS and Lubbock are must see TV.

I'd rather go to the playoffs a fraction of the time in the SEC than live another year in that boring conference.

Florida has more SEC championships than any other school and by a wide margin. They're not leaving. BS story.

It would be a net positive for the SEC to get rid of all those schools. Lol.
You have to beat up on somebody. We leave and you go from 10-2 to 8-4. Yeah - brilliant!

The UAA has found a way to make tCAW's prophecy come true, we are going to the ACC where we belong

The easy way to know this is false - UF has literally been operating with an interim administration for going on 2 years now. There is no one in place that could even begin to have this conversation with the Board of Trustees. Even if by some chance they wanted to (which they don't), the UAA has absolutely no say over this whatsoever.

We would be bottom dwellers even in division 3.

Our boosters would cheap out on happy meals when trying to recruit div 3 kids

Florida- I don’t get the advantage. You have won titles in multiple sports in the SEC. When you are right, you are great.

The best way to think of it is UF's admin is running the program the same way as the owner of the Indians in the movie Major League
