I like the CBS game and it's nice to have something NOT be on ESPN for a change. I agree with you about Gary though. He is terrible. He is cliche' as they come. He says things that are just untrue and seems to be either extremely biased in games or else moronic.

Danielson the past 2 years drives me crazy and he's gotten worse IMO....He tries to make every play dramic and questions ever slight thing.....A player could cross the goal line with the ball...run through the end zone with the ball...The player could then hand the ball to a fan in the front row and Danielson would say.....Did he just fumble that ball into the stands?!! I think he did fumble that ball into the stands....They need to look at that in the replay booth because it looked like to me when he handed that ball to the fan he lost control of it.

or you can do like I did last weekend and will be doing again this weekend, sit in the middle of a row and towards the back and stream the game on your phone on mute. If anyone complains, tell them that's why you don't schedule fall weddings and they should be appreciative you're there.

mutha. frickin. this.

We had a fall wedding, but planned around off dates as best as possible.. also had the game on in a side room during the reception for people to check on as needed. Would not have been remotely offended if someone was quietly watching the game.

I got married the weekend after the SECCG and 2 weeks before Christmas. I had guests who were fans of a bunch of different schools. My wife wanted a fall wedding and asked why everything had to be about football. I told her I personally would get married on whatever date she wanted, but if she didn't want guests resenting us or not showing up, then it would be the accommodating thing to do to schedule our wedding on a weekend where no-show excuses would be as minimal as possible.

Her brother got married in the summer but, unfortunately for him, on the night of a Grizzlies/Spurs playoff game (we're all from Memphis) and was dumb enough to give people access to the room with a TV and let's just say the dance floor was, more or less, barren for most of their reception.

He says something about every team he calls, that's why they all think he's against them.

He really is a good color commentator. What he needs is a producer to tell him when it's time to move on from a particular topic.

So do I. The hate he gets is generally unwarranted. Basically every team think Gary hates them and favorites whoever they’re playing. But his insight in games is almost always on point and informative. He knows what he’s talking about and clearly does his homework before games

There's not a better color man (no, not colored ) in the business. His knowledge of the game from the years of experience as a QB along with his game preparation separates him from everybody else. Blackledge is good but not as good as Danielson.

The reason why everyone hates Gary is because he is a Dick. Oh my he was a shitty QB in Detroit. Why do we have to put up with his bullshite. Well don't just listen to your local yokel and fook Gary

beginning in mid-October, so do I. However, those September and early October 2:30 games can be brutal with the heat

The worst part of being bad is getting stuck with 11AM and 3PM games when it's hot as hell then suddenly all night games when it gets cooler.
