We fired John Brady two years after a Final Four.

You can too.

He’s not that bad.

Bama is better than their record.

Bama had a big play the game of his life. Like having stars align.
Y'all were just a celestial object caught in the wrong place at the wrong time

Mississippi State fired Richard Williams two years after the Final Four. But that was for off the court personal stuff.

One tournament appearance his entire tenure here. Final four wasted and the momentum from it gone.

It’s not the Bama game, it’s his entire career here. I don’t know why people are saying “oh bama is better than you’re giving them credit for”. shite has nothing to do with Bama outside of the most recent loss.

And my god Frank Martin teams are painful to watch. College basketball is already a foul fest that’s frustrating to watch, we take that shite and run with it.

True...but they got a Bama team without John Petty and with Herb Jones playing with 1 hand

This is his biggest mistake... not capitalizing on that success. It’s something Malzahn couldn’t do after 2013... but hopefully Pearl does after last year.

Same story every year for Frank teams

1. Start off with terrible head scratching non conference losses that hurt our NCAA chances big time pretty much eliminating us before the season even begins. (This year is was Stetson and Boston, last year Wyoming and Stoney Brook)
2. Start SEC play on fire, pulling an upset over Kentucky and winning some key road games giving fans hope of a potential NCAA bid.
3. Going on a losing streak just when we start to be mentioned as a bubble team.
4. Our fans say give him one more year he is the best we can do and that we will be a NCAA tournament team the following year and the cycle repeats itself.
5. Bring in a 70th ranked recruiting class

Alabama was clearly the better team last night and it wasn't even close. As for Frank he is going nowhere, he has a $12 million buyout that genius AD Tanner gave him, and most of the fanbase still thinks he is some great coach and we can't do any better. Top 20 in salary top 70 in results and recruiting.

The problem is recruiting, he can't land a high level in state recruit to save his life, they will go anywhere but here. No AAU coach wants to send their kids to play for Frank either. We made the Final Four because of two elite in state recruits (Thornwell and Dozier) carrying us, haven't landed any elite players since. Pearl is 10000x the coach Martin is.

That’s more making fun of UGA than it is bragging. Similar to 20-17.

Yep and then our fans blame the refs for every loss, at some point you have to stop blaming the refs, we are just not a good team period. It isn't a Frank Martin game without the other team shooting 20 extra free throws, and we can't hit two in a row to save our life.
Heck Bama had a kid shooting one handed that was better than all of our players.

USC should make a run at Steve Forbes if they dump Martin

I never understood Martin taking the SC job in the first place.

He and his AD at Kansas State had a tumultuous relationship and we paid him nicely, as we do all our mediocre coaches.

I highly doubt they do dump Martin this season

They should only lose Kotsar and maybe Lawson for next season plus they'll get Seventh Woods eligible.

Personally I wouldn't take Martin to coach my team, but I do question whether or not South Carolina can do better
