Very hard to beat the same team twice.

Dubose beat spurrier twice in season. If he can do it vs a better coach...

They had a great team and would have beaten anyone (including our 2015 and 2017 squads)

I think 2017 Bama was better than the Bama 2011 team. Just my opinion.
It would make an interesting matchup though.

Literally the only reason not to put them there would be to cool the asspain of all the butthurt LSU fans.

Or the fact that they not only didn’t win the Conference, they didn't win their division of said Conference.

The second game proved who the better coach was. FIFY

Which most LSU fans already knew the answer to even though some idiots wouldn't admit it.

LSU 2011 and Alabama 2011 could have beaten every NC winner going back to 2000 except 2019 LSU and 2020 Alabama. Would love to see a stat that reflects the total years played in the NFL by those two defensive rosters.

I would hope the players on the team that got their arse handed to them would have none of that…. Looks very weak.

True story.

I was in Tuscaloosa back in spring 2008 at the Capstone Country Club. I ran into two LSU students who were from there. I congratulated them on winning the National Championship. One of them said, “We were lucky to get into that game. My biggest fear is we’re stuck with Les Miles now for a long time. I have this feeling he’s gonna cost us a couple games and probably a big one.”

How right he was.

2019 LSU shreds the absolute dogshit out of both of those defenses and that's terrifying to think about.

Minter was a beast.. I'll never forget his coming out party at Texas A&M he was a one man wrecking crew.

Minter had 20 tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 FF vs UF and had to leave part of the game for cramps! I believe this is the LSU team record for tackles in a game.
