Even Nick Saban's daughter got the business from them on at least one or two occasions from what I heard.

Well she did beat a sorority friend’s face to a pulp.

The only thing Saban doesn't do is suspend people for games, which is really nothing more than PR and is pretty stupid overall.

No, Saban just uses his game suspension hammer on non-starters.

We are saying there was situations swept under the rug

Maybe there is, maybe there isn't. If it's obvious to you then you must have some sort of knowledge of exact occurrences of issues being swept under the rug.

By all means you can speculate and assume things are being swept under the rug but it being obvious is overstating yourself a little.

And to be honest, I would ASSUME there have been issues that never reached the police HQ at Alabama as would I ASSUME that is also the case for every university in SEC.

If we had just let TM7 smoke his weed then 2012 might have gone a lot differently.

Are you kidding? LSU did let him smoke his weed. He admitted he failed AT LEAST 10 drug tests while there. Quit acting like your shite dont stink

Technically a disfigured broken nose and a concussion, and she still got married at Bryant-Denny. No wonder Saban laughs off guns, drugs, and DUI's.

No, you were acting like LSU is so strict when clearly they arent.

I know the father of a pretty good player that finished a few years ago at Bama. While not naming any players, he described the handful of players that were totally disciplined in all football activities, but were thugs away from football. The only real punishment for a player came from negligence in any area related to football.

While the typical player greatly benefits from the structure at Alabama, the ones who aren't truly punished for their off the field activities seem to go really wild once they get out from under the structure and have money and freedom. It has hurt the draft status of several players, because Saban won't reveal who these players are to the scouts and there have been misses on both sides of players perceived to be trouble or not that were incorrect.

I worked in the Mal Moore (football) building as a grad student. I can assure you nothing gets swept under the rug. If you missed class you were running 110s at 6am and you were finishing by the time the second workout group got there just so they could see you.

Out of 85 guys youll have a couple of seriously horrible people. They do a good job of keeping them out of trouble while theyre in school because theyre ina structured environment. Its not surprisng some cant make it once they have time on their hands in the NFL.

i don't doubt there's some of that but it's pretty obvious to everyone that Bama sweeps a lot of shite under the rug too.

Maybe you are just delusional. Bama has just as many problems as other schools. There’s probably not much statistical discrepancy among player arrests. You don’t like Bama so you assume Bama’s players are just more likely to be bad people.

LSU's compliance program is notoriously strict actually. The guy who runs it is said to be so anal retentive that Saban allegedly had him transferred to the ticket office and completely neutered so he couldn't interfere with the program, he was moved back when Les was hired.

That Miles actually managed to keep TM7 eligible as long as he did is a minor miracle.

Further I don't know what Bama fans are being so defensive about. Nobody comes to the SEC to play school.

Nonsense. Everyone was knows Cam Robinson and Hootie Jones were arrested for drugs and weapons, we're also aware they weren't suspended.

+1
We have more than our fair share of street thugs.

Frankly, I don't want a bunch of choir boys (no insult to Tua) playing football at Bama. And I honestly DGAS how Coach Saban chooses to discipline his players when they choose to revert back to the life they were raise in.

Give it up 1941, the other teams in the SEC are perfect and never committ crimes...It's bama and vama only that has discipline problems according to these hypocrites. It's Nick's fault how they conduct themselves once they leave , no such thing as personal responsibility .
