Not yet. First ugly loss is going to be glorious. A lot of people here are too young to remember just how dysfunctional Bama was before Saban.

It is really, really entertaining.

Depends on how many games Bama loses next year.

About what I expected. Gumps going through the stages of grief. We did the same thing in 2005. Many of us in BR knew what was coming when he came back in 2007 to Bama. Nice to see the long nightmare over...

I do think with the current rules, it will be harder for Bama's follow up coach to be as successful as Les Miles was with Saban's recruits back in 2007.

Agreed, but you have to admit it has been pretty good so far.

To be honest, the second thing I thought of was a Sam Kinnison sketch when he described his then wife crying, face in hands as she begged him “Please don’t leave me . . . before I have a chance to get you back” accentuated by Satanic look.
TBH, first I actually felt good that he had enough sense to leave and hopefully enjoy retirement with grandchildren.

Kind of fun watching all the equivocating and hand ringing from Bama fans. Bout time those mothercuckers suffered a little. They’ve had a 17-year bliss bath.

Sidewalk Bama fans have been building themselves up for this shite for 15 years.

There is an entire generation of Bama fans that have never seen Bama lose 4 games.

How many of those frat Bros and Sororitutes are going to show up and sing Sweet Home Alabama when they are 3-3.

If I’m a Bama fan who had to eat shite and paid my dues through the early 2000s, I would just sit back pop another top and let the fair weather bullshitters expose themselves 1x1.

Nah. It really isn't. I'd rather beat Bama at their best and for them to have no excuses than hear b-b-but Saban done left. I liked Saban as our coach while he was here and respected him as a good coach throughout his career. Would've been better to watch him go out on top after another natty than this. Whole deal is disappointing. We'll be in a better place for it, but CFB will be weird without Saban pacing up and down the Tide sideline. No more broken headsets. No more aight. I'm 30, so Saban's been in CFB all of my life.
