I missed this. What was said?

Started with Florida making a DBU video. Florida players then start saying they were the real DBU. LSU DBs take offense and they all go back and forth for a while. LSU even made their own DBU video in response. Fournette got involved a little bit too.

Tabor, Florida DB, has already mentioned it this week so you know it hasn't been forgotten by them and I know LSU side hasn't either. They were talking during the entire game last year as well.

Yeah. A game not scheduled until Wednesday the week before is the same crowd you'll see this Saturday.

I wonder what the record is for 1st year starters at Tiger Stadium in night games.

Can't think of any winners in the 2000's other than Chris Leak (true freshman in 03) and that was an afternoon game anyway plus considering how that year turned out, I would gladly take that trade off again if it Guarenteed a ship lol

You mean the game that was schedule 3 days prior? The one in which Miles requested that the crowd keep the noise down since it was supposed to be a home game for USCe?

That game didn't seem too "scary"? Shocking.

Les Miles is something like 45-5 in night games in Tiger Stadium. So, this makes almost no sense.

DJ Shockey came in for a series in 2003 for UGA ... He was in the south endzone headed north. He didn't get far. The fans weren't relentless. I'm guessing we will be relentless when on defense Saturday. .

Well, maybe aTm can schedule some games there and win one so that they can claim they've won in "Death Valley" this millennium.

40,000 < 100,000. LSU is 44-4 at night under Les Miles in Red Stick. Does that sound vulnerable to you?

I don't know how to feel about this game. Harris has to have a good game if we are gonna have a chance, and I really don't care if he gets his yards through the air or on the ground (hopefully a combo) but LF can't do it alone.

You sort of come across like you are whistling while walking past a grave yard. The game you watched Saturday was in the day and in a stadium about half full so I can imagine it didn't seem "too bad".
According to LSU sports media (accurate through the 2013 season):
quote:

LSU celebrated its 75th year of playing night football in Tiger Stadium. Since that first night game in 1931, LSU has played the majority of its games at night and the Tigers have fared much better under the lights than during the day. Since 1960, LSU is 231-61-4 (.787) at night in Tiger Stadium compared to a 29-26-3 (.526) record during the day over that span. Since 2000, LSU is 65-6 in night games and head coach Les Miles is 40-2 in Saturday night games in Death Valley. .
So, the Florida team may not be intimidated Saturday, but you seem to be and probably for good reasons considering your inability to grasp the facts, state them accurately and interpret them correctly. Maybe you are confusing us with Clemson.

1. Florida will be running into a buzz saw in Death Valley on Saturday night.

2. Don't worry, A&M fans, you will get your bitch slapping in November. It will be just like the last four years. You're probably use to it by now. You certainly will be after November 28.

3. The Aaron Hernandez reference is downright tasteless.

And Seattle is the only place that we should acknowledge the 12th Man.
