"Fortunately, our understanding of the virus is growing. We know that vulnerability to death from COVID-19 is more than a thousand-fold higher in the old and infirm than the young. Indeed, for children, COVID-19 is less dangerous than many other harms, including influenza."

Professors at Harvard, Oxford, and Stanford say you are wrong.

Dr. Martin Kulldorff, professor of medicine at Harvard University, a biostatistician, and epidemiologist with expertise in detecting and monitoring infectious disease outbreaks and vaccine safety evaluations.

Dr. Sunetra Gupta, professor at Oxford University, an epidemiologist with expertise in immunology, vaccine development, and mathematical modeling of infectious diseases.

Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, professor at Stanford University Medical School, a physician, epidemiologist, health economist, and public health policy expert focusing on infectious diseases and vulnerable populations.

Those numbers are from June. The death rate has gone way down because testing / cases has gone up. And there are millions who have had it and not been tested!
Please understand what you are talking about before posting.

Read the CDC, only 6% of the deaths are from Covid only.

That means we are at 13k deaths in the country since it began of purely covid related and nothing else.

I have been out and about since end of April and nothing.

Also, I have no antibodies detected for Covid and have been in front of 100's of people along the way.

If you wash your hands and be safe, its very avoidable.

How are you going to distinguish?

You can't distinguish which is why you come forward.

This isn't rocket science.

What? I can tell you’re political. Florida is responsible for this. Not the fricking governor you dunce. Wtf did DeSantis do you cause this?

In other words, just let the kids play and quit worrying about this farce of a virus.

Exactly, it should be treated just like a player having the flu or any other sickness. If they can get up and play, play. If not, sit them.

It's not that hard. These kids aren't in any danger from COVID, especially compared to the danger the regular flu carries. They're MUCH more likely to feel the effects from the regular flu, which is indeed having a small outbreak in FL.

I'll be PISSED if this cancels the football season for everyone.

3 more weeks and lefties can cool it with their fake fear mongering and move on to some other crap.

The virus is real, but the narrative is fabricated.

Any players hospitalized because of this super deadly virus? Probably not since none of them are 80 years old.

If all it took to get covid was not respecting Mullen then everyone would already have it.

I was gonna just read the comments but I had to chime in. The clowns that believe covid directly killed over 200,000 people are fricking stupid as shite. Also, the fatality rate in children and young adults is LESS than that of the flu. The WHO even is flip flopping on shutdowns and all the damage that’s done.
