Whatever, it's not apples to apples and you know that.
No, it's not. Flu kills a tiny fraction of the number that covid does each year, but it does so exclusively in the fall and winter (which we're just entering) and it does so without mass efforts at distancing and mask-wearing and the like. If we put the effort into not catching the flu that we have for covid the number of flu deaths would be cut drastically, even with a vaccine.

But you got your wish. Sounds like the game is off.
Yes, you're not sure why you should do something for the good of someone else. That's why we are where we are as a nation, in a nutshell.

I think you guys are arguing the same thing.

And at some point you have to consider nature/survival of the fittest, whatever. It’s clear the working age and young people are handling the virus better than the elderly, yet they’re being robbed of school, vacations, games, and experiences.
Anyhow, y’all got your wish.

So why don’t we do this? Because it’s unsustainable, just as it has been for covid

If we tested every single person that came into the hospital for the flu then deaths would raise drastically
With flu
Of flu

And we'd the economy would collapse, we'd resemble a former eastern bloc country: police state with everyone on the sole; I'm sure you'd love that too

Because we're talking about a scale difference. The difference between tens of thousands of deaths and hundreds of thousands or even millions.
The sad part is that it isn't unsustainable if we'd just gotten our shite together and done it right from the start. Countries that are handling this well are having very few cases right now and so they can trace the cases they do have, which means they can go out and do as they like for the most part. The only reason social distancing and staying home and the like are still so important to us is that we never got things under control in the first place.

It's not even true for college students. Which is why the 'it's only killing old people' argument has always been dumb. Diseases kill old people more easily than young people. News at 11. Covid is more dangerous than flu in every age bracket. By a lot in most cases.
100% incorrect

Not in the younger brackets, which is where our players fit in. By a lot less

you're talking out of your arse. There is no demographic for which flu is more dangerous than covid. Covid kills fewer younger people than older people. Great, so does influenza and every other disease.

Lol, you are so full of disinformation.
The only country even remotely “over” Covid right now (of any significance) is Sweden who pissed all over you and your friends fear mongering little faces with their response.
Tell me what you know about PCR cycles, false positives and why ours are so much higher than in Europe. I’ll wait
