Florida Fans, what would you expect Faedo's availability to be in Game 3?

This is a topic of discussion on the Tiger Rant, currently. He threw 115 pitches last night. If he pitches in Game 3, it would be on three days rest.

What is O'Sullivan's history of using guys on short rest?
Does Faedo have any past history at Florida of a situation like this?
In your opinion, do you think he'll pitch Wednesday? Will he start? Pitch count?

Just curious. Faedo is the best pitcher in this series by a wide margin. The dynamic of the whole thing changes based upon if he throws or not, and how much.

Hopefully we find a way to close it out in 2 without having to see Faedo at all

Right, but that's not the question. The question is if it goes to Game 3 does Florida try and pitch Faedo on three days rest. We might not see Faedo regardless given that 3 days is not full rest.

I see him in a relief role like LSU uses Hess. Can't imagine he will start game 3. I'm sure Detroit will be watching closely

If it comes down to a Game 3, hes going to pitch. It would be his last game ever as a Gator.

Wouldn't be surprised at all if he starts.

How's his right calf? He looked to be in pain every pitch when he tweaked it. Was it just a cramp?

Kowar won't go in Game 2 on three days rest, I assume. So it seems like it would be a combination of him and Faedo in Game 3.

Thinking:

Singer
Dyson
Kowar/Faedo

So he had cramps, pitched 115 pitches, and your really expect Sully to start him for the first time in his life on 3 days rest?

I have a very difficult time seeing this as even a thought in sullys head. He has been a very fair coach to his players im terms of their future. This would be a kick to Faedos future right in the testicles

If they decide to throw him and have him on a 50-70 pitch count, it really makes no difference whether he starts or comes in relief. It would really just be about who is more comfortable in what role between Faedo and Cowar.

50-70 pitches is alot at this point for Faedo

I think Faedo is done besides a very finite chance he pitches one inning

This is how I feel. I think he'll throw in some capacity, and it wouldn't surprise me if he started.

He'll want to pitch. The fans will want him to pitch. It's for the national championship. I think O'Sullivan will put him out there for it.

I don't think he will pitch more than 2 innings.

Knowing how Faedo is, I think he starts. If he thinks he can, I doubt Sully goes with someone else.

He'd have a pitch count rather than an inning count.

I dont know why anybody expects him not to pitch. I fully expect him to start on three days rest and maybe have a pitch count but not likely.

Sully has always protects his pitchers, but some pitchers can pitch on shorter rest. I think he pitched on 3 days rest in the super, although I am not sure how many pitches he threw prior.
