I love trash talking but let's have a real discussion about this game.

What are your thoughts on this game? The rumor is that Corral is going to start as QB but that's not set in stone by any means. Kiffin hasn't been exactly pleased with what he's seen in practice. I think Ole Miss will play hard but come up short. It should be an exciting game.

I don't know what the situation is at UF.

Thoughts?

We have a chance. Dan Mullins is overrated.

Kiffin has an advantage of having more info on Florida than they have on us. Advantage Ole Miss

Kiffin had no spring practice and has to install new O and D schemes.
Advantage Florida

I think the last one is a bigger advantage, unfortunately.

Florida should be stacked this year. As much as I’d like to see OM beat them, I don’t see it.

Why would Corrall start over Plumlee? Plumlee was great last year

Corral is a better passer and Kiffin wants to show QB recruits the offense that he plans to run at Ole Miss. More pass happy. Hopefully they can find some interesting ways to get the ball to Plumlee though. He’d be lethal in a wildcat type package.

If Florida is the contender we as UF fans think we are, then we should have little trouble.

I think it’ll be sloppy at times, but Florida should win in the 38-17 range. I don’t think your defense can consistently stop us unless you force turnovers, and I think our defense will be able to slow y’all down sans a few big plays/missed tackles/blown coverages that you expect early in a season.

You are correct in that our defense can’t stop your offense. Unless Dan gets in your way, Florida should score at will. 52-21 type of game. Our defense is extremely thin. Our DL is no where near two deep and I doubt our starters would start for another SEC team.

Remember the ULM 2 QB plays (I think against Arkansas), that would be dangerous with Plumlee

Found it

I hope Corall starts after how Plumlee ran all over LSU last year.

I hate Florida, but they’ll win by 17

I think that could work especially if Plumlee moves to more of an H back role.

I think Ole Miss is competitive but Florida still wins by double digits.

I think it's pretty set in stone that Corral has won the job. Plumlee is dynamic and needs to be on the field in some capacity, but his arm is so suspect and can't make SEC throws. As far as the game, I think we will keep it competitive in the first half, but Florida will pull away in the second. Our defense isn't going to be very good, and we have no depth. It was a major blow losing Sam Williams too. I'm going to say 38-21 Gators.

Even in your contender years, you tend to overlook and lose to Ole Miss.

Plumlee is hilariously bad at throwing the ball

Ole miss will beat someone they aren’t supposed to. Just hope it isn’t LSU

Run the god damn Wing T then. I swear coaches overthink things way too much. He’s very clearly the most dynamic player they have. Design the offense around him
