Not sure either but it better be the best ever. Maybe they can fix the Internet issues. Getting a decent signal is like a team going undefeated in league play. Not possible.

Or you could use like 10% of that on nil and win the next 5 nattys.

Carolina Panthers are doing the same thing. A $1B+ stadium renovation rather than building a new stadium.

What year do you think it is? Northwestern spent that much on a new stadium that barely holds 30k. The dollar isn't worth shite right now.

The only thing I can think of is UF kind of wants to remain in the Swamp because of all the years and history attached to the stadium. That’s all I can think of anyway. That kind of money I’m sure could build a state of the art new building.

Scott Stricklin claims that the stadium upgrades will pay for themselves and then some primarily via significantly expanded premium seating options.

How valid is that? I don't know, but he did say that Year 1 of the renovations they will be cash flow positive

It’s the way cfb is going. All about maximizing the demand curve and extracting as much value as possible.

Every major team is doing stuff like this.

Ask Texas how that’s going.

A&M's 483 million dollar renovation came at just the right time - while rates were historically low and just before major inflation. So glad we got that done when we did.

Nashville is building a new state of the art indoor stadium with every possible bell & whistle for $2.1 billion. And that includes developing a new site. Is Florida lining the seats with ermine and encrusting the bathrooms in diamonds?

Northwestern spent a little more than half that on a totally new stadium not a renovation
