I didn't watch all of you guys' game with Bama last year but didn't Bama do the same stuff early in the season especially against your team? Somehow they managed to win a NC.

You didn't watch college football until you were 20 years old?

We did it against them last year but instead of just for a half we did it for the entirety of 4 quarters .

Of course, we had a group on offense last year who had no qualms about needing to score on every possession. This one did more than I expected yesterday in must score spots, but I don't think they can be expected to go score for score for 4 quarters.

Yeah, such a tough place to win.

Y’all have a huge home field advantage, and we have 2 weeks to prepare. Should be a hell of a game.

I think Kiffin will have y’all ready for BDS. And with 2 weeks I can’t imagine the packages he will install. I’m expecting a heavy does of Corrall to Plumlee and a lot of “trick plays.” Our defense really needs to tighten up. I don’t think we can win a shoot out with y’all this year.

Also, would love to see some top 10 losses this week so OM can sneak in there and make this a top 10 matchup.

That would be awesome.

Well the one thing different is that yesterday Florida ran the ball at Bama, around Bama, etc, very diverse running attack with inside power runs, stretch runs with RB, QB runs with Option, option to RB, straight QB runs, etc. Alabama could not run the ball at all. I did not see anyone win the LOS against Bama last year. Florida won that battle yesterday.

Ole Miss played an old Big 12 game vs. Bama last year.

Looking at the 2 October SEC schedule, the Bama/Ole Miss game looks to be the best matchup. So that will be Bama game number 2 on CBS. The Iron Bowl will be another game on CBS, so that is 3 times for Bama on CBS. So the only issue with the Bama/Ole Miss game not on CBS is that the Aggie/Bama game is the following week and that has been a game that CBS has picked up most of the time.

Still, with LSU and Auburn both having 1 loss, that game does not look like it will be picked ahead of Bama/Ole Miss.

Eh, Ole Miss ran the ball at will last year. It basically set up all the other stuff. Now, it wasn't quite as powerful brute force as what Florida did to us yesterday, but they gashed us with those RPO seam runs the entire game last year.

They ran for 268 yards.

SummerofGeorge: I watched the game but I never got Ole Miss ran the ball on Bama last year, it must have been a quite run game that you look up and say damn Ole Miss ran for that much. I need to go back and check the box score.

The Run game difference between how I viewed Florida vs. Bama this year and Ole Miss vs Bama last year was that Bama ran it at will vs. Ole Miss last year.

This year the run game differential was more noticeable to me because Florida could run the ball and Bama could not. Very rare for that to happen vs. Saban coached Bama team.

Yea I don't disagree - Florida's run performance felt different because they were basically saying "here we are, we are running it, try and stop it". Ole Miss was more of a "what are we going to do run or pass" sort of thing.

Florida just punched us in the fvckin mouth and then ran outside some and then punched us in the mouth again and then ran a little speed option and then punch us in the mouth a 3rd time.

LOL, your an idiot if your not worried about Bama.

These next two weeks everybody will be saying Ole Miss will beat Bama. Saban will have his team fired up and ready to destroy Ole Miss. You always want to sneak up on Bama and not have their fool attention.

If Bama plays their best game and Ole Miss plays their best game, Bama rolls by 15 plus. Alabama is still vastly more talented then Ole Miss.

I wasn’t afraid of Bama in 1997 and me and a bunch of friends got rained on all afternoon in VHS watching fat frick Freddie Kitchens play the game of his life and Shaun Alexander introduce himself to the world.

These threads always age well. That being said, we have as good a chance of upsetting the champs as we’ve had in a long time. I’m looking forward to the game.

Funny. We beat you in 2014 and definitely (according to Saban) had your full attention in 2015, but still won.

So, false.

I mean, I don't fault y'all for having some confidence, but to say that ole miss is just going to walk into BDS and easily beat the #1 ranked team is utterly fricking retarded.
