These are your quotes to counter that I said it was postponed and not canceled...
quote:

ts experts led to what it is deeming the "postponement of the 2020-21 fall sports season."

quote:

The Big Ten's cancellation affects all fall sports, including cross country, field hockey, soccer and volleyball.

Like I said. Football was postponed in the Big Ten, not canceled.

You are responding to a dumbass

Cal u has not a held a single on campus event since March. Not a single practice since March. Not a single class on campus since March

It pisses him off that this death can’t be attributed to sports or college

Then comparing what power 5 conferences can afford to do vs a D2 football program is ridiculous.

All of this because I questioned him being considered a football player and whether the story warranted being in a sports discussion.

The only relation this has to sports is the fact cancelling sports may have actually led to this death

Ironic, isn’t it

this is like claiming a racial cop killing when a black guy dies in a car accident with a police unit driven by a white cop

Honestly, that's the saddest part of the whole thing. It may have been able to have been prevented if the kid had football to be a part of and be accountable to.

That isn't the point. "college athletes are in too good of physical shape for covid to cause major problems" has been the narrative. I don't care if he caught it on the front porch of his granddad's house.

ETA Sadly, he won't be the last college athlete to succumb to this virus.

This has already been disputed. Likely to be bloodclots

You do realize blood clots are exactly how Covid messes you up.

People are still too stupid to realize covid exacerbates other medical issues. Sometimes people don't even know they have these underlying conditions.

Then let me tell you who doesn't have to die from Covid. You. You can keep you safe by staying at home. Nobody is pushing you out of your house. Stay there. As long as you can afford to.

Now - once you run out of groceries and dollars ? Meh - no idea what to tell you. But until then - hunker down, my man. You do you.

Other people are tired of staying at home. Some will die. Walking past your front door is a risky proposition. It always has been.

It's about people using common sense. Wear a fricking mask. Social distance. It isn't hard to do yet people are too ignorant to follow basic simple guidelines. We are a dumb society in this country. We want to pay attention to some things (college football) yet dismiss things that may cause inconveniences in our lives.

Then use it my man. And pick over the bones of all the rest of us booger eating retards that don't know any better. Honestly - if you saw my truck and gun cabinet - you'd just wait me out until I died from this stuff.

Imagine - all my stuff that you can walk up and take - if you'll just let me die from the Covid. I wonder, honestly, why folks like you complain so much about me risking my health when you know so much better.

Really - that F250 is only four years old. Less than a 100K miles. Metal flake gray. And if you'll just let nature take it's course, you can pry those keys from my cold dead Wu Flu hands with minimal effort. Why stop that ?

Dude - you are on the cusp of a license to steal.

The media wanted this to be Covid related so bad. The story is already changing. Imagine that. I’m sure the fear mongers will be upset about this

Ignorance ?

Dude - you have the answer. You insist on it. So why are you not only giving it away for free - you're demanding everyone listen ?

If I thought the Covid was going to kill us all - I'd be quiet. I'd be buying canned goods and remote cabins and bottled water and such. I sure wouldn't be screaming, at the top of my lungs, that the end was near. Because that kind of crap would drive up the cost of surviving.

Now let's be honest. You don't REALLY think the Covid is going to kill you, either. But you have an agenda. It's as simple as a need for attention.

I’m sure that has nothing to do with the hateful response the family/school received from those only worried about their Saturday entertainment...

Well these kids all have the option to not play or not play, so I really don't know what all the liberals are crying about? Personally I hope they don't play so I don't have to listen to them bitch about how tough they have it every 10 minutes.

Now this thing is gonna turn into some crazy circus and his death is going to be secondary to the debate. Sad.
