Nah, I think I'll roll the dice. It's a personal choice.

The likelihood of athletes dying from the virus is less than them driving a fricking car around campus.

It's really very simple. Once one player tests positive before a game, then the game is likely cancelled because the rest of the team will be quarantined. There's a responsibility the coaches, AD's and Chancellor's bear to all students and athletes to keep them safe.

People will be testing positive for this for years. Who cares? Its not that bad to have it. Do you want to cancel everything for years?

Why dont you just kill yourself now so you dont have to worry about Corona.

It's a flu with a 99 percent survival rate for people under 60.

Next year is a wash. We need to start focusing on the 2021 season. These are unprecedented times and being that we are all in this together, we have to be thinking of the medically compromised and their well being

You won't get sick if you don't go to the game.

It's not a personal choice because it only takes one person/fan/student/athlete to affect lots of others in a ripple effect. All this chest-beating about the virus is useless. The universities will consult with their insurance carriers and be told that they cannot conduct team sports at this time.

I've noticed the only people saying this are barners. Do Auburn fans not want to see their team play that badly? Wow.

I agree. Let's get rid of cars, airplanes and boats since they crash and kill people. On another level I couldn't help but notice that as an Ole Miss fan cancelling the season could be viewed as a positive.

There’s a difference between making a personal choice to go to the store or gym or salon. Not a mass gathering of tens of thousands. That won’t be up to you.

Jesus Christ

Cars, airplanes, and boats aren’t contagious.

I like SEC football as much as the next guy. Love basketball and baseball, too. I hated to see the baseball season crater because I had bought season tickets and was having a great time up until the cancellation.

But there are just too many risks out there with this virus. People keep comparing it to the flu, but we have a vaccine for the flu. Even then, some people refuse to take the vaccine.

I hope we have a vaccine for covid-19 by next year. I hope we can resume regular sports around the year. But I just don't see the pros and colleges taking on the liabilities associated with team sports with the virus out there uncontrolled.

People also kill other people, we should strap society to a robot chair like in wall-e. Its for the greater good.

They could easily just cut down the number of tickets allotted for the games if they want to maintain social distancing. Then just make sure the team is healthy, not hard at all.
