Finebaum had Commish Stankey on today & the Commissioner of the SEC did not say anything like that. He repeatedly said "it's too early to predict any date right now" & Finebaum kept trying to back him into a corner.

So, it's a personal choice to go to the store, gym or salon, but it won't be a personal choice to attend a game?

Who will it be up to?

I'd be surprised if CFB happens at all this year. It's not worth it. How can human lives be compared to games?

There is no vaccine for the flu

It doesn’t exist.

You can take a shot, you may or may not get it.

Small pox, polio? Yes there’s a vaccine.

False. Anyone who goes to a mass gathering is doing so by their own choice.

If you are worried about it, then don't go.

The schools could cancel the events. But the claims that they could be sued because people choose to go to them is just plain false. They are choosing to go knowing the potential consequences, the schools are not liable for their choices, no more than someone going to an event and catching any other virus.

So they can force me to go to games?

That seems messed up.

Or you are wrong.

But there are just too many risks out there with this virus. People keep comparing it to the flu, but we have a vaccine for the flu. Even then, some people refuse to take the vaccine.

They flu vaccine only reduces your chances of getting it by about 40-60%.

I hope we have a vaccine for covid-19 by next year. I hope we can resume regular sports around the year. But I just don't see the pros and colleges taking on the liabilities associated with team sports with the virus out there uncontrolled.

There are no liabilities for the teams. The risks are known before hand, if someone decides to go to a game, they are doing so at their own risk. In no way are schools or events guaranteeing people they can't catch it.

It's funny that people over-react so much about this.

Reminds me of the HIV/AIDS days back in the 80's.

Tell that to Magic Johnson!

You have been brainwashed. This is the biggest hoax in history. The quarantine was never supposed to de for an indefinite period of time. All the lambs say if we open we are to blame for any deaths that occur. Who is to blame for deaths that occur while we are quarantined?

If only we had shutdown the country in in the 80s, we could have saved Magic Johnson!
