There was "a lot of chirping coming from MS State fans to the Vandy parents." Yates stated that he "could tell that the environment could easily escalate into something dangerous for the Vandy parents."
If parents are chirping themselves, then that’s fair game. But almost all of the ones I’ve encountered keep to themselves and care a lot less about the outcome of the game, like the rest of the fans do, and care much more about their child’s performance / wellbeing.
