UF - 54
ARK - 52

132- Kentucky
52- Arkansas
51- Florida
43- Oklahoma
40- Texas
31- Tennessee
30- Alabama
27- LSU
23- Auburn

11- Mississippi State
10- Vanderbilt
8- South Carolina
7- Ole Miss

LSU's record in the Final Four is 0-4.
Texas is 0-3.
Congrats on finishing in fourth place more than everyone else.
Bama fans will twist themselves into pretzels to try to find an angle they can puff up their record with.
No sane person would say Bama’s 0-1 Final Four record is better than Texas’ 0-3 or LSU’s 0-4. Obviously just making it to the Final Four 3 or 4 times is way more impressive than just once.
But bammers are gonna bammer.

It does, we won the games so I don't have an issue counting those but it actually helps our winning % to take those 2 seasons out. UF gets to the tournament and wins a lot of games

* Also worth noting that Tennessee’s and Ole Miss’ totals count a “First Four” win in Dayton which probably shouldn’t count, IMO.
A team seeded as an 11-seed getting a win over another 11-seed shouldn’t get to count a Tourney win over a team seeded as a 10-seed who lost to a 7-seed. I count those as true “play-in” games.

At the end of the day it is Kentucky and everyone else.
The Florida fans begging for validation in this thread is sad.

Alabama's brick wall has been the Sweet 16. That's pretty much the only thing standing between us and being considered much more respectable historically than we are. I'll give LSU credit, they lag behind us in pretty much every other category but when they've made it to the Sweet 16 they've generally made the most of it.

Bama fans try to claim that it’s “Kentucky and everyone else”… shrugging at Florida’s and Arkansas’ 20+ more NCAA Tourney wins than theirs. But then in the next breath they’ll tell you that their basketball history compared to Auburn’s is light years more impressive despite leading in Tourney wins just 30-23.
It’s always quite amazing how they can twist themselves.

You are arguing that Florida Atlantic and Jacksonville University are better basketball programs than Tennessee and Missouri. That is certainly a bold decision.

I never argued that Alabama is better than Florida. I simply listed all time rankings in several different metrics.
You are the one who came to the conclusion that Alabama is better than Florida.

A logical person would agree that all time wins, winning percentage and NCAA tourney appearances is a pretty good measuring stick for program success.

I agree...that's weak. It's like hanging Citrus Bowl Champion Banners on your football stadium, weak.
Post proof, pretty sure UF doesn't do that. Don't be scared, homie.

We are all very aware who the top basketball program is, very obviously Kentucky...have not seen a UF fan even try to argue that. But we are debating who is second very clearly. It is like Football...we all know Bama is number 1, but 2-5 can be a fun debate.

Tennessee, mid-70's, had Bernard King and Ernie Grunfeld on the same team. That's 2 guys who made All American, playing together for 3 years.
Missouri, I would have guessed Norm Stewart had a team or so make it.
