With Supers ending last week and the CWS in Omaha, home #s are final.

1. Mississippi St - 10,903
2. Lsu - 10,834
3. Arkansas - 10,106
4. Ole Miss - 9,628

5. t.u. - 7,476
6. South Carolina - 7,045
7. Texas A&M - 6,431
8. Florida - 6,100
9. Tennessee - 5,339

10. Southern Miss - 5,317
- - -
17. Auburn - 4,244
20. Kentucky - 3,952
21. Alabama - 3,835
24. Vanderbilt - 3,597
29. Georgia - 2,852
37. Oklahoma - 2,366
62. Missouri - 1,349

-MSU makes it as the 3rd different leader in the country in the last 3 seasons (Lsu in 23, Arky in 22). A big 3 of college baseball attendance.
-Solid job by Ole Miss, like usual.
-A&M set a record for attendance. Sad we only have a 6100 capacity with a bunch of damn beams. The upgrades are coming.
-OU and MU - how do you let the softball team outdraw you?
-UK is shockingly low after a great season, newish stadium, and a capacity over 1k more than the avg.
-Why is UGA's stadium so tiny? <3K capacity.
-Well done by Auburn. Terrible team yet they fans showed up or at least bought the tickets.

Amazing the support Arkansas has plus excellent facilities with zero national titles

These “attendance” numbers are complete trash. Everyone just reports tickets sold as attendance.

We've made it to the championship series twice and have the distinction of losing both series to teams that came out of the loser's bracket. We have a different kind of tradition.

They've historically not given a frick about baseball.

It's a bizarre thing too, considering the vast prep baseball talent in the state. It's a true sleeping giant.

Is it because Arkansas isn’t #1?

Fricking New Army.

How so? If our capacity is 6100, we’re limited.
Our attendance was therefore greater than 100% of our seating capacity; we couldn’t do much more beyond that.
You can certainly say we’d benefit from a larger venue … but I don’t agree that our attendance was embarrassing.

Side note: It’s interesting that much of the chatter surrounding football stadium renovations across the country has been around making the facilities more slick, while downsizing seating capacity. That doesn’t seem to be the case with baseball, where conversations are often about “bigger = better.” I have no idea what the point of diminishing returns is for college baseball parks—obviously it’s individual for each school—but I’m left wondering if colllege baseball is increasing in popularity?

The SEC has much to be proud of; I raise my glass to all the amazing ballparks and fanbases in our conference.

Schloss keeps calling it the golden era of college baseball with MLB draft only 20 rounds, fewer MLB teams, and better facilities / lifestyle for college players. That means more and more great players are going to school.

We're also seeing some records breaking viewership #s this postseason.

If you go back 10 years:
-1 school tops 10k
-4 schools top 7k
-7 schools top 5k
-#10 = 3750
-#25 = 2747

2024:
-3 schools top 10k
-6 schools top 7k
-11 schools top 5k
-#10 = 5317
-#20 = 3952

Yes, I think it is safe to say college baseball is growing and more popular than ever.

For A&M, it's greater than 6,100 and it is damn embarrassing a university with sound resources can't plan better.

Facility upgrades are in the works although it is player oriented vs. fan oriented.

And yes, there is too much prep baseball talent in the state - especially in the northern Atlanta metro area - for UGA to not be a power.

LSU may of had 10,000 at The Box once this year. Didn't host a regional or super this year. Unless we do that, we never sellout anymore.
