as much as he did for LSU this is how you treat him when times get rough. Bet if it was Saban people wouldnt want him gone. Problem is tiger fans want the best and the best is in Bama. Its one thing to make a change, its another to do it the way its being done. Terrible just terrible, if Les and his success is based off winning against Saban then almost evey coach in college football in unsuccessful. This is more like by Les dont let the door hit you in the arse on the way out.

It's a business. Les knew that 3 years ago when he leveraged the Arky job into a contract extension. frick him and his feelings.

Yes, Saban is the best, but Bama got a much better coach in this version of Saban than LSU did. Saban at LSU always had his eye on the next job, at Bama, the NFL has been all but shutdown for him. He has dedicated his entire energy to their football program, something he never did at LSU.

Why..he is a multimillionaire that has gone 4-7 against his division over the last two years. He is not earning the money he is making.

He either needs to: (a) agree to amend his contract to take less money and fire his OC, DC and STC; or
(b) be fired.

His contract extension was predicated on his past success. Since signing the extension, he has been a grease fire.

I don't feel terrible as he will walk away with 16 Mill but don't think lsu should get rid of him. He has given his all to lsu.

Les offense can work if he would get the horses on the OL to run it and quit trying to turn dual threat QB into pros type QB. Look other than AJ Bama QB have been very pedestrian but yet they have sustained success. LSU has been too worried about hanging in to players like Fournette and less concerned with hanging on to players on the OL/DL. That's why LSU is bad right now. If they would fire Peveto and strictly focus on OL and DL this and not class their problems would be gone in 1 to 2 years.

I don't feel terrible for anyone making $5M a year to coach a game.

For the love of God ....... It's not that he has loss to Saban 5 in a row! Have you not seen the way we have played the last 3 games? Have you watched the same herp a derp offense Les puts on the field week after week after week? Have you watched us struggle against teams like Eastern Michigan?

If he would lose to bama every year but would at least compete..... We would not be here! Hell if we lost to bama every year but competes against others with a creative offense ....... This would not be the talk of the nation!

Watch us play before you come here with this shite!

Look, I like Les Miles as a person also and hope there is someway for everyone to save face in this parting of ways, but this is not a lifelong LSU volunteer we're talking about. Les has been very well compensated while here and allegedly played the system to get even more.
We've been at this stage before and his changes have not yielded long term success.

Well said! I can almost guarantee this won't work out the way a lot of people are hoping for.

I am fine with them exploring other options at this point. Les makes $4 million a year with one of the highest paid staffs in the country and he is about to finish outside the top 25 for a second straight year.
