Arkansas. Great venue

Edit. Arkansas is easily my favorite road venue in the SEC. I read the question incorrectly.

Non SEC either Arizona St or Colorado. Close. Haven't been to some of the bigger bucket list stadiums for teams like Ohio St, Michigan, Notre Dame.

I already do know why you're wrong, hence what prompted my first post to you to begin with.

You are apparently too dense or drunk or whatever to either 1)not realize why you're wrong, or 2)do know why but just want to come across as an a-hole for some reason?

Speaking of a-holes, you're an asinine hemorrhoid on a pig's a-hole.

Texas has appeared in ONLY TWO ROSE BOWL GAMES, dummy! On 1/1/2005, they played Michigan. On 1/1/2006, they played USC. DUMMY!

In 2011, they played the UCLA Bruins IN the Rose Bowl Stadium (not The Rose Bowl GAME!!) DUMMY!!

2+1 = 3. Get it, DUMMY???

Great. now have a seat because I'm not sure your feeble brain is going to be able to comprehend what's about to happen next. The poster in question said, and I quote:

quote:

Went all three times Texas played in a bowl game there

quote:

played in a bowl game

quote:

a bowl game[

he never said, "The rose bowl game", you took it upon yourself to make that distinction. Texas played alabama in the BCS Natinoal Championship Game following the 2009 season in, you guessed it....the rose bowl.

making myself and the original texas person correct, and you very incorrect and silly looking. Which is news to absolutely no one that has followed this board for any length of time.

The Texas fan posted......

Rose bowl. Went all three times Texas played in a bowl game there + the UCLA game in 2011

You (the DUMMY!) posted.......

When he said, "played in a BOWL game there".....what the heck do you think that means? He said that Texas played 3 times in a BOWL GAME there --- what other BOWL GAME is played at the Rose Bowl, DUMMY???

I made a distinction because there IS A DISTINCTION between playing in the Rose Bowl Game and playing AT the Rose Bowl. Texas played UCLA AT the Rose Bowl --- NOT IN THE ROSE BOWL GAME, DUMMY!!!

Get it?? GET IT??????? You're a moron trying to pass yourself off as one whose I.Q. has passed 20. Now, shut the hell up!!

LaVell in Provo. Just for the stadium alone but also excellent atmosphere and some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.

It means they played in the 2005 rose bowl, 2006 rose bowl, and 2010 BCS National Championship Game

1 + 1 + 1 = 3

3 bowl games

My god you’re dumb

The Rose Bowl.
I just like the setting. Parking on a golf course on the north end is kinda different but you can just feel the history there. Not a fancy stadium but a great place to watch a game.

Went on a business trip with my dad when I was a kid. He had to go see some clients in Montana and we walked around the Montana University campus and saw their stadium.

Pretty nice stadium for a small school like Montana and they love their football up there. The Montana/Montana State rivalry reminded me a bit of the egg bowl. They hate each other

No, YOU'RE DUMB!!

The 2010 BCS National Championship Game on January 7, 2010, was NOT the Rose Bowl Game!!!! The BCS title game between Texas & Alabama was, repeat -- NOT!! -- the Rose Bowl Game!!

The BCS title game was hosted by the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association AT the Rose Bowl -- but, it was NOT....The Rose Bowl Game.

The 2010 Rose Bowl Game was played JANUARY 1, 2010, and the teams that played in that game were the OREGON DUCKS vs. OHIO STATE BUCKEYES, won by the Buckeyes, 26-17!!

Yes, YOU'RE THE DUMMY ALONG WITH WG DAWG!!

Nobody said it was. The original post you replied to simply said “bowl games” in the rose bowl. The rose bowl is the name of the stadium. Texas has played in 3 bowl games there.

Holy shite, you might actually be retarded

I dont have a dog in the fight but i will say that its definitely happened that someone has played in the "rose bowl facility" in the post season but never played in the actual "rose bowl" game.

To clarify..the winner of the pac 12 and the Big Ten faced off annually in the "Rose Bowl".

But there have been times when the National Championship Game was also played there a week later. That would be considred "the National Championship game". The rose bowl was an alternating site.

Hope that clarifies things for the confused poster on here..

Texas, Alaska's little sister, has played in only 2 (TWO) bowl games at the Rose Bowl........

-- January 1, 2005....Texas vs. Michigan
-- January 4, 2006....Texas vs. USC

That's it!!

-- January 7, 2010.....Texas vs. Alabama for BCS national title was NOT a bowl game. It was played AT the Rose Bowl Stadium for the national championship, but it was NOT a bowl game! Even the Univ of Texas athletics website along with the Rose Bowl Official website lists only TWO ROSE BOWL GAMES TEXAS HAS EVER PLAYED IN, the two listed above.

You people are absolutely idiotic.

P.S. -- the original Texas poster stated he also went to the 2011 Texas @UCLA game played at the Rose Bowl stadium -- but, it wasn't the Rose Bowl GAME!!

Get it????? Too many doofusses on this board.
