Nothing Rambo says can make Mizzou "southern" or "southeastern."

They don't fit. They need to go.

They will be in the SEC for the remainder of your existence. Accept it and deal with it you gigantic gaping pussy.

USC is in California, Carolina is UNC and the university in SC will always be Clemson. Take your flagship stuff and stick it where the sun don't shine. Flagship does not equal AAU.

The first expansion was good because we had lost Tulane, GA Tech, and Suwanee from the original 13.

This was seemingly cool at the time because it was new, however, it messed up the conference schedule rotation big time.

Not happy about this. It will be cool to play two big name teams and beat them but I would rather have kept the conference in the 12/14 range and not bring in the woman with baggage and her toothless partner.

I certainly don't want to go over 16. 16 is too many.

Playing baseball in Missouri to start the season in February and March time frame is absolutely brutal weather wise if you have to play there.

Spend a little bit of time on those weirdos' message board and I promise you'll change your mind. I did when we played them for the natty. They are a strange breed.

What are your thoughts on the six expansion teams? We know most would have preferred the SEC stayed at 10 teams, but here we are.

Five of the six are just fine. Texas is going to be a problem. A change the way this league works, and not for the better, problem.

Mizzou catches a lot of shite here for some reason, probably because they're the first true Midwestern state. Culturally, they ARE different. But they're fine. No reason not to have them. I do think the Big10 screwed up by not taking them.

Texas is going to be the first school, in very short order, that everyone else here simply wants to go somewhere else. They do NOT fit. Will not fit. Never will. They're proud of their ability to not fit. They revel in it.

A&M, for all their weird homo-erotic traditions, at least wants to fit in. Keep 'em. Arkansas should have been here from jump. Same with South Carolina. Oklahoma is going to fit like a glove.

Oklahoma was the big steal, long term, in this latest deal. Wish they would have brought OSU with them.

And I'll show you why walking around with an open beer is a deal breaker for some folks.

Clemson would be bad, for entirely different reasons, than Texas. Clemson needs to go back to being an independent. Or merge with Notre Dame in the "Holier than Thou" conference. Maybe bring in BYU.

No to Clemson. Hell no.

It still shocks me that some people on this board would like to have Clemson in the SEC when they've seen how their fanbase is.. just imagine it in person.

I think it's because most people here just look at where South Carolina is, and assume. The state of South Carolina is different. And then Clemson is different even from that.

South Carolina ... the Carolinas for that matter ... are several different cultures in a very, very tight spot. You've got the Mid Atlantic stuff. The incredibly preachy Baptist stuff. And then the Gamecocks.

It's always been that way. Something in the DNA of the Carolinas.
