Standing all game is stupid and inconsiderate

If the entire student section chooses to stand all game

It’s because they are young and stupid (have not learned how to pace themselves)

You know the story about the old bull and the young bull?

If it’s your home stadium and y’all are stupid enough to stand the entire game

Go ahead and be stupid.

If you are at an opponents stadium

And you pull that bullshite of standing in front of me the entire game

You are a dumbfrick inconsiderate POS

Just my opinion

Defense I’m on my feet yelling. Offense I’m usually sitting try to get my voice back. I’ve gotten lucky that I’ve been around like minded red necks for the most part

Every event I go to, whether football or monster trucks, I pay extra to be in the first row of level 2 or 3. It's worth the extra money. Also, I usually only need a 3-pack but it's easier to buy in 4's, so I have an extra seat for space, or setting down nachos etc.

The story I know is the young bull sees a bunch of cows up on the hill and says to the old bull "let's run up there and **** one!" and the old bull says "no, let's walk slowly up there and **** all of them".

If you’re LSU you just leave at halftime enroute to a 40-13 loss and the echos of Rocky Top forever coursing through your stadium

To be courteous to those around me, I only stand for big exciting plays (yay, touchdown!) or when it’s serious get-loud-time (3rd down on defense and they’re close to your end zone).

I’ve never had an issue with anyone sitting behind me when I operate by those rules.

What I don’t get is the low T dudes who wanna get butthurt at getting loud for every single down on defense as soon as you can fit the length of the play. I grew up in The Swamp going to games with my family all my life and having no voice the next day was a goddamn badge of honor. You get our atmosphere by bringing it EVERY down on defense, not just 3rd down.

Yet last game I went to, some 40-50 year old dude started bitching at me from 2-3 seats down on my sane row for me yelling on 1st or 2nd down. Dude. If loud noises bother you, perhaps a live football game is not your jam. Let a yeller buy your tickets and watch it quietly at home.

Sit. Big moments are ok. They’re called seats for a reason. I can yell just as load seated.

Game dictates whether to sit or stand. If you are the only one sitting or standing, look inward.

I stand all game at home. Hell I pace around and act like a maniac. I only stand for big moments when I’m at the game though. TV makes every play feel like a big moment though so that’s Probly why some people act like I do at home.

I agree with you man. I tend to try to get tickets in areas away from the low T old dudes. I hate the mentality of only making noise on 3rd down

Exactly. It's funny to me how the people yelling at everyone to stand somehow think that the sound automatically gets louder. You can easily make just as much noise in a seated position.

Mizzoufan, I hope you recorded that because you won't be hearing it too many more times live in the future. BTW, sorry about your baseball team. I didn't see much standing there either.
