Faking injuries what can be done

Everyone saw that pathetic display by ole Miss in the early game. Not only is it chicken shite, but truly disrupts the flow of the game. Hell forces us to watch more commercials.
At a minimum they need to go back and review the film and see how many of these players come back in 1 or 2 plays and issue public warnings that if this happens again that fines will be handed out to the school.
I am hesitant to say an injured player must sit out an entire possession, but something needs to be done to put a stop to this

If there is a timeout for an injury.. that player is ineligible for the rest of the possession.
May not prevent flops at the goal line for a deep team… but it will help.

The injured player has to sit out the rest of that drive.

It is obvious enough when these players go down that fines can be issued upon review.

Frame it as precaution for the health of the player. Sit for 3 plays to help determine the full extent of the “injury”. Similar to sitting a play when the player loses his helmet.

Quit allowing teams to hurry up and snap the ball before the defense can even get back to their positions. There’s a reason the NFL doesn’t have this problem

The conference already said nothing can be done. The rule they flirted was that if a player got hurt on a drive and required an injury timeout, they have to exit the field and won’t be eligible that entire drive.

You need to toss the head coach.

Burn a timeout. Work harder in Spring to not be weak. Maybe football is not your game.

If Kentucky took any longer to get to the LOS they would be paying a late fee.

Not to defend Ole Miss, but how was that a fake injury? You can clearly see Dart repeatedly point, and read his lips of him saying, “Hey man, your legs broken. Your leg’s broke there.”

They've already changed the rules enough to the benefit of the offenses as it is so Defenses have to do what they have to do. Don't like it? Tough shite. Nobody asked for them to change the rules to benefit the offenses in the first place.

This is a good start and I think they should definitely be doing that.

"For the player's safety" , they should sit the rest of the quarter. If they're truly injured, that is very reasonable

A player who is actually injured is not likely to come
back in after one play. Keep the fakers out at least the entire
possession. May not completely shut it down but
that would put a big dent in the flopping. Television loves it because
of the excuse for more commercials. It's not just the players who
take a dive but coaches & the medical assistants who run out are also part of
the ridiculous drama that's better suited for professional wrestling.

Makes me really dislike the coach that allows this even more. The players are only doing what they are told. Fine the school and the coach.

On defense? Just let them sub. It's way better than an injury timeout.
The post I'm quoting? That should be flagged as an illegal procedure.

I think it’s as simple as the player has to sit out the remaining four downs on a drive unless a team calls a time out
