That's the worst clip I've seen. Fairley should be disciplined by the NCAA for his classless play. It would be one thing if that was it. Unfortunately, there are about 6 times against UGA where he took cheap shots.

It's unfortunate for him, but also unfortunate for some of the fans. I hate that this is the shite that's out there as a representation of Auburn. It's pathetic. He's good, and I understand that he's the best we've got at his position, but we really need to bench this jackass.

That's what I don't get...he's good enough to be dominant without playing dirty. I don't get why he does it.

If I was McElroy, I'd wear steel plated rib and back protectors..and when that fricker lowered his head (which ya really shouldn't do) to intentionally cause injury his spine would drive through his a-hole!! That head driving shot is totally wrong and uncalled for!!!

Just read the article about the grade changes. This guy was taking physical science as a senior and still needed some grades boosted. I took that class in the 8th grade. I'm glad I didn't complain about the late hits he put on LSU's QBs. Those look weak as hell now.
Is it safe to say his role model was Dareus? Dareus took out 2 starting QBs last year with blatant spears that weren't called when his team was losing and they came back to win.
J/K, I blame it all on the Chiz. You can believe this wouldn't happen under Miles. We can't even have guys strike the heismen pose w/o being benched for the rest of the half.

I said it on here after the LSU game that this dude will get his or will cost Auburn at some point. Neither has really happened yet, but this dude is stretching the envelop more and more with each game. He is the dirtiest player in college football and someone needs to take him out. I am not one that says another team should take a cheap shot at someone, but in this case, it would be well deserved!
Thanks to the Auburn fans on here that can truly see what is going on here more than calling every other fan on here that says something about Fairley's play cry babies and get over it routine. If we had a commissioner that had any balls what so ever he would step up and give Auburn the bottom line on this dude. If he pile drives another player or is flag with an unsportsmanlike like conduct call, he is done for the rest of the year.

Exactly. He's a bad arse dlineman. There's no need in trying to hurt someone every chance you get. He might get away with it now, but he won't in the NFL. He does that shite once or twice and he'll wish he hadn't.

This. I did not see this during the game. I wondered how Murray got cut. Classless move. He should be suspended.

i like Fairley - but he has been making himself and the university look bad - you won't hear me defending anything he did against UGA.
the UGA game made me embarresed to be an Auburn fan.

It will probably happen like this-Bama will be trailing by 4 pts with 30 secs to go in the game. Bama is on the 35 yd line-4th and 13. McElroy drops back and throws to Jones in the endzone but a great play by the Auburn defender knocks it away and the Eagle nation is nuts, players are jumping down in a frenzy but....a little piece of yellow cloth lays on the ground....15 yards against Auburn-roughing the passer against Fairley for doing what he's been getting away with-driving the QB into the ground a tad late!!
!st and 10 from the 20 and on the next play, McElroy hits Ingrum on a wheel route after Jones clears out the secondary as a decoy!!! Thanks Nick-your dirty play finally cost your team!!!

I was liking fairley at the beginning of the season. He's got a great motor on him, and can sure disrupt a play...but damn, he's really made himself look like a POS the last half of the season.
The thing is, its not just Fairley. There have been a lot of questionable hits made by Auburn defenders this year. I've refrained from saying anything, but its apparent that they are going to take shots whenever and wherever they present themselves...classless or not.
EDIT: There was a play similar to this done by a MSU defender on Ingram last year. Ingram lost his helmet in a scrum, lying on his back in a pile, and the MSU defender headbutted him, splitting his chin or forehead...

someone needs to get this under the intense spotlight of major media.
During the game, the announcers said "their facemasks got stuck".
That clearly isnt the case.
