i like what buck belue said about it...

Football is a tough, physical, emotional game. Mean dudes play it...like Nick Fairley.

This guy has a take no prisoners approach. He's bringing it. Do I think that was a cheap shot he took against Murray, when he hit his knee down low? No, I don't. Look at the the replay again. Fairley is already low to the ground, getting pushed by the 'Dogs OL...and then, he finishes with the blow to the leg. Could he have bailed out? Don't think so. His momentum was moving forward. Was this a deliberate attempt to hurt Murray. Don't think so.

But I just loved the way the Georgia OL went after him on the next play. Protect your QB. It's an oath every OL should take. Love it! And you can bet Aaron Murray appreciated it.

I played with a guy that lived on the edge too. Eddie "Meat Cleaver" Weaver. He was mean and intimidating, just like Fairley. QB's knew Weaver was going to bring it. Same way with Fairley. I''l end it with this: If you don't want to get hit, go play tennis.

While I dont want to see anyone get seriously injured, it wouldnt surprise me if Fairley gets his knee blown up. He is just asking for it.

Like he tried to do to Murray?

Seriously, dude is complete trash, and Auburn fans defending him are, as a result, complete trash. Not that we weren't perfectly aware of that already.

It'd be nice after watching your classless organization take out our stud lineman, who was actually, by most reports, a decent human being, have it's low-life thug lineman taken out as well.

Thanks for posting this, I read all season about how Razorback and LSU fans were saying Fairley was the dirtiest player in the SEC - on Saturday it was obvious that statement is true.

I really don't want to see any player getting hurt on a dirty play. But with that being said, this dude does take dirty to the next level. Balance of powers in taking him out with a dirty play? Not so sure, but I would love to see the line letting him blow through untouched and pulling a tackle to knock him on his arse. Or letting him come through untouched again and let the QB throw a rocket right at his crotch, now that would be some funny shite right there!

I hope burglars are shot when they enter someone else's home to cheat them out of their possessions.
I hope Nick Fairley gets a career ending injury while he tries to end the careers of QB's using late cheap shots and targeted hits to susceptible areas of the body.

The analogy works.

Someone find a link to the 3rd down run by Murray in the first quarter. It was 3rd and about 8 and he ran to the left. The piece of garbage plowed his shoulder into him right after he hit the ground, and when they changed camera angles you could see the piece of garbage put his knee on Murray's face or throat as he was getting off the ground. This may have been the play right before the 4th down TD pass.

The announcers called him out on a few things, but there is still a lot they don't notice.

There's NO doubt that Fairley is a one dirty sob...no doubt. I saw that play live and called him out as the POS that he is.
