Kiffin said he and the admin spent that Saturday evening going over how he might be able to coach
Agreed. If the only conversation was him notifying OM about taking the job, why did they meet for 4 hours? It's obvious there was lots of conversation on how to move forward. If it was as simple as he portrays, then no way they meet that long.

No
So maybe not most, but 5 position coaches left with only 8 staying. Appears the ones Lane asked to come with him did.

That's after the offer of doubling their salary too. Not a great look.

mett had a long TD run and it was called back?
Mett called an audible with a naked bootleg to the 2 yard line, think it was 2014. Was at that game. Turnover on downs.

do you think they allow Weiss back to finish the season
If they weren't going to allow Lane to coach, why would they let Weis if he is on staff with LSU? Defeats their reasoning on not letting Lane finish the season.

sounds like the majority of the coaching staff is staying on and the players aren’t leaving before the playoffs.
Ole Miss has removed alot of coaches from their site, including both Co-OC. Only 8 coaches left. Seems like that narrative was wrong.

Weiss is on the plane headed to BR
Pretty sure he was mis-identified. That was Nick Savage. Ole Miss removed everyone who left from their football page, and Weis is still listed: LINK
Kirby Smart coached in the NCG after being named UGA head coach on Dec 6.

Playoffs are so new to college football and bowl games were mostly meaningless, haven't had a head coach be in this scenario before.

Ole Miss is not letting Lane coach the SEC Championship without signing the extension
What about any assistants that follow him if he leaves? Push a package deal.
With the way Europe has played, the pairings didn't matter. Europe was -36 thru 70 holes played this afternoon. Players have to play better. But this has been unreal play by them.

Chambers Bay
Fun course, and has some links elements. But still completely different than true links courses in Scotland and Ireland. Bandon is closer here in the states, but still not quite the same.

My favorite in the area. Typically not crowded and in good shape.

Lost all respect when he bought his childhood club and flipped it to a developer about a year later.

Pros play them because most play special grinds, not off the shelf. They may do a bit more heel or relief grind. Plated wedges aren't good for those customizations. They wear a bit faster as well, but that's not an issue for them.

Rust does not improve spin. They have tested that raw or chrome dry wedges spin the same. When they are wet, you lose spin in both but more on plated wedges than you do on raw.

re: Any Left Dash gamers?

I am left dash player. No difference around the greens between it and the prov1 to me. It's much firmer without being harsh, but some don't. I like the lower spin on my long irons and plays great into the green, stops well but doesn't rip. You need to have a decent swing speed, and in the winter I can't play the ball. With the cold temps, I can't compress it enough to make it perform.

Not counting top 100 public/resort courses.
I walk alot, every weekend. I like my Hoofer, excellent pocket and bag design. I don't have the club tangle issues people complain about. Hoofer lite even better for walking, but lose some organization.
Having a LT that couldn't block the blind side hurt more than a backup QB.

The Falcons are going to cut him so the contract's not going to be an issue.
Except for the dead cap hit for next year. Falcons basically set $100M on fire.
