I don’t want them having the honor of beating Alabama.

He’s done a great job. He’s clearly a good coach. His confidence is a bit arrogant and off-putting but dude backs it up. A lot of Bama posters here wanted him when and even after DeBoer was hired. Hell, he’s got three rings from his days at Bama.

but I’d have them as a two TD dog to most any of the prime Saban/Kirby/LSU/Urban Meyer UF teams, not that 2025 Bama is in that tier.

Too bad this is a totally irrelevant hypothetical that has nothing to do with their fans being confidant in their game against 2025 Bama next week so pretty much just a waste of time to type that out

Hes a great coach, but hes about to get bent over on national TV. It is what it is.

He reminds me of a balllsy-er Mike Leach because of the things he’ll say to the media is very no filter.

I like it. We need more coaches that interact with the media like Mike Leach did

The only fanbase I’ve ever seen this overconfident was Notre Dame prior to the 2012 NC in Miami so maybe it’s an Indiana thing?

If you're drawing a comparison between 2012 Alabama and 2025, that would be extremely "special."

Alabama is 120th in the country in rushing yards per game, including a smoldering 25 rushing yards in their last two games. Eddie Lacey had more than that on the first drive of the Notre Dame game. I just Googled it!!!

It’s entirely relevant in that they are in no way competitive from a talent standpoint with recent historical elite all of whom were more humble than they are acting going into this matchup.

Well you selectively left out the part where I noted specifically that 2025 Bama wasn’t on par with those teams which is odd.

2012 Bama was FEI #3 on offense, incredibly balanced and had NFL guys all over the place with an ultra elite backfield and OL.

2025 Bama is FEI #11 on offense and struggled badly down the stretch and is nowhere close to that team in terms of talent, run game or consistent performance.

But based on YTD resume and talent 2025 IU is nowhere close to the teams I listed either.

Im gonna repeat that: he has Indiana #1 in the land.

That baw can say whatever the frick he wants.

He has played a total of 3 ranked teams in 2 years. I'll repeat that, 3 ranked teams in 2 years, and he is 2-2 in those 4 games. The stupid arse committee gives lots of credit for beating up on teams like Purdue and Illinois over and over.

Not one P5 team outside of the B1G has been on his schedule. He's a pussy, running scared. Bama is going to bend his old arse over and expose him like he got exposed his first year in the playoffs.
