I’ve got no problem with people not getting most of it. It’s an intentionally different experience, and much of it born out of the all-male, all military past. (A requirement that was changed by probably the only Aggie who could do it. James Earl Rudder was President of A&M in the 60’s, and he’s the one who made the change. He was also a complete badass on D-Day.)
Where I do get defensive is when people run down the Corps. Sure, you can question why anyone does it if they just go D&C for their last two years and are not contract for military service.
Before your junior year, you have to decide whether you are committing to that, just like at service academies. Unlike the academies, though, you can still be in the Corps but it just be an extracurricular activity. By that point, your buddies are your tribe, so many want to stick with it.
The cadets that do contract (usually just under half) are committing to serving as officers in the military, and A&M has a long history of supplying more officers than any school outside the academies. They are one of (and the largest of) six official Senior Military Colleges, as per the DoD.
I don’t even have a problem with mocking the unique traditions and stuff of the Corps. Where I do take offense, though, is belittling the ones who do decide to take the service path.

The yell leaders are a bunch of homosexuals. Aggie has a culture of homosexuality all over that campus.

It started out as an all male school is probably why they kept the male dudes in milk man's uniforms

I enjoy the irony of fanbases with grown arse men waving pom poms in the stands mocking A&M.
Yes, there's some weird arse stuff that seems extremely outdated. Who cares? its why college sports are fun.

True story: yrs ago, rode a bus from Houston to Aggie Land for an LSU game. Several young Aggies on board the bus full of Tiger fans. Stopping at a field next to the stadium pre game, one young college-aged Aggie hustled to the front of the bus, first one out, jumped to the ground, down on all fours, kissed the ground & bellowed "back on hallowed ground". Perhaps not a tradition per se, but he was seriously into it. Their "HOWDY" screamed to every passing - out - of - town - fan got old, fast.

So my other half and I made a bet on the superbowl that whoever team lost would have to serve the other for a week nude. Any creative or fun things I should make my other half do? I'm thinking sing some Prince songs, strip for me, make dinner for me naked...
Any other ideas of things I could do for shits and giggles.
You're weird as frick already.

Yes, but you would think that after all that time they had to spend with only dudes, that aggy would have been more excited when the women finally showed up…
aggy still hardly lets women onto their sacred field, except for the ones who have to first dress like men…

they're all egocentric premillennialists

It’s a school that loves to LARP about military traditions and has homoerotic male cheerleaders

Me and all of my college buddies are woman loving conservatives.
I bet A&M has a percentage of gay students that is either on par with the average American University or below it.
Y'all have to remember that it's the largest university in the country.
Also: Zero gay bars in College Station

We do what we want and what we want are weird arse traditions started by men stuck in the middle of nowhere prepping to go get their asses shot off so long ago women couldn't even vote. We don't care what you think, we're not going to stop, and at least we admit our weird shite unlike the image obsessed phonies down at the 40 Acres who try to pretend 95% of their traditions aren't a direct response to our horseshite craziness.
The end.
The end.

LSU has ROTC too baw. They aren’t nearly as weird and do not cosplay as some sort of weird Boy Scout/soldier hybrid at our football games. They just wear their normal clothes like normal humans.
