The committee isn’t feeling any backlash. You presume you can make it on there or congress with a conscience.

You will come to heal or the punishment will continue. Get the message and join a conference.

I think you mean "come to heel." The last thing we want these motherfrickers to do is heal. Let them wallow in their pain.

Exactly wrong. Play a better schedule, have a more impressive win than the # 16 team in the country, stop resting on your laurels from 40+ years ago or STFU. I’m disappointed the Horns didn’t make it (BTW - our 3 loss resume was a hell of a lot better than your 2-loss one), but no, we’re not going to decline our bowl invitation, we’ll enjoy beating Michigan, getting the extra practice reps, and not being considered huge pussies by the rest of college football. I enjoyed my last trip to South Bend (well, moreso Chicago before/after), but I hope we cancel our series and replace you with teams that play in conferences and don’t expect special treatment from a system (oh, the irony) that their own AD largely developed.

The SEC has become a bunch of whiny entitled schools. The selection committee protected Alabama because Alabama would become insignificant if they missed the CFP two years in a row.

Saban, ABC/ESPN did their bidding for them. Now we get lame rematch of Alabama vs OU and ole Ms and Tulane.

ND has one of the most dynamic offenses and defenses in college football this year. They would have beat any SEC team in the playoffs.

Then there is Miami, a team that could not even get to the weak ACC championship game because it lost to weak SMU and Louisville. But Miami jumps the top two ACC teams to go to the CFP.

If you are going to have conferences, have them mean something. Why play in a conference if you are going to rehash the season in a supposed playoff?

Um, first thing...Miami beat Notre Dame, bitch! Second, obviously, Bama had a much better resume than ND and MIA, so they were ahead of them, beforw and after, the 13th game. The game ND will never play, since they are pussies and won't join a conference. This mess was created by the ACC, who happens to be Notre Dame's scheduling partner. Their stupid tiebreakers prevented their two ranked teams, MIA and UVA, from playing on Sat night. If they had played, the winner, likely MIA, and ND, would be in. BLAME YOUR PARTNER, ND!

It is very exciting to score 45+ on Arkansas, Syracuse, and Stanford.

No team with 2 losses to unranked teams should ever be in the top 15. There are no wins that should overcome those losses.

I do think ND has a legitimate beef on one point and one point only... that the commitee had them ranked over Miami (even though they lost to Miami) for the weeks leading up to the CCG weekend. So how did Miami move above ND when neither played? The explanation from the committee was pretty weak (basically came down to the head to head). Personally, I think Vandy should be in over both Miami and ND. But, I do get why ND would be pissed that they dropped below someone they were ranked ahead of in a week neither played. However - that is a beef with the committee that has nothing whatsoever to do with the two heavy weights (B1G or SEC) - unless you really think there is a conspiracy here, which in that case I can only offer you a tin foil hat.

Regardless - it does not excuse the childish behavior ND has shown the past 24 hours.

(edited, I mistakingly had said Miami lost to Virginia in prior version, but it was Louisville and SMU)
