His handle is DanMulllins4Life...I think he was already outed

As a pass rusher, I don't think he's in the same stratosphere as Derrick Thomas. He could be if he gave his all every down. White was a better pro player than college player.
Athletic Prowess is an area that few can touch clowney though, I think at times he relies on this too much and does enough to be productive, when maximum effort would make him unstoppable. See Michigan RB being disintegrated when the SC defense was pissed off

true, he was a better pro. He was also an All-American, All-SEC, SEC player of the year, and holds every Tennessee sack record imaginable. Career sacks, sacks in a season, sacks in a single game.
The idea that he was underwhelming in college is pretty much nonsense.

He's on the same level. He isn't better than DT. Here is what I would point out and want to get your opinion on. When DT played in the 80s, there was no one like him and no one that could block him. If you put DT on the field today, he would be dominant, but probably not register the same numbers he put up. He could play in absolutely any era. If we put Clowney on that Bama team or in that era, I think it would be very similar. The production would be close. What do you think?

Clowney is basically what Lebron James would be if he played DE.
Kid is an insane athlete. He might not be the most polished DE but when your bigger and faster than everyone in the world.. Who the frick cares

I agree, but that's a little like saying jake holland would have been a dominant linebacker in the 60's. Humans in general, and especially football players, are much larger and more athletic today than they were then collectively speaking.
I see what you're saying though and agree

That's exactly what I'm saying. More specifically though, DT was a mutant. He would be a mutant today and virtually unblockable. I think more of those guys exist today, but in the 80s he was like the original prototype.

I don't think Derrick Thomas' numbers will ever be touched. But he was a modern pass rusher, playing before his time. He was just unblockable.

Idk. His #s in the pros are just as ridiculous. He was voted all pro 9 times in ten years I believe. You can say he played against weaker competition in college, but you can't say that about him in his NFL career.

Clowney is very good. Not Derrick Thomas good, but good.

He's definitely in the top 3, not even a debate. I never saw DT play in the SEC so I can't comment on that, and the Freak was a freak for FLA. Clowney, though, is unreal.
Moral of the story: Clowney is really fricking good and I can't wait till he goes pro

He's one of the best to ever play the position. It's just a shame he didn't go to a school that could get him a championship. SEC or
MNC. He won't sniff one of those next season either. Damn shame.

I would rank Derrick Thomas and Reggie White ahead of Clowney

They all aren't that size but a lot of wingers are beasts with speed.
