Physically, he could literally be the best athlete to ever play in this conference. It's definitely debatable, but you can't mock anyone for saying its a possibility. IMO, as a pass rusher, he's top 3

Derrick Thomas
Jevon Kearse
Jadeveon Clowney

I think clowney climbs to the number 2 spot in my mind this year. I doubt we ever see another guy with DT's rush skills.

He's the best I've ever seen.

I can't think of a player ever that would have been picked over clowney in the draft. Maybe Mario Williams

In terms of physical dominance, I don't think I've ever seen a pass rusher like Clowney.

There have been QBs over the years that would have gone ahead of him. A dominate DE isn't worth as much as a franchise QB. Even one as incredible as JC.

Julius Peppers in terms of the draft

I'd bet money that no one will ever match DT's numbers.

I don't think peppers was the athlete at that stage that clowney is, though he is in the same ballpark. In not sure if peppers has ever been as heavy as clowney is today

As good as Quentin Groves was, I think Antonio Coleman ended up better at career end for Auburn.

Incredibly overrated just generally taken for his size value only.

He lacks speed, coordination, and awareness but people overlook this because he's massive.

He's a great player, but all this superman talk is ridiculous. There are players like him out there almost every year.

He's a legitimate 6'6"
He weighs 275 pounds
He runs a 4.5

There are few humans on the planet like that, much less every year
