I met Emmitt once and he was a dick. At a crowded bar, I was ordering a drink next to him, I said something like "Wow, Emmitt Smith, you were one of my favorite players growing up" and he said "I'm just trying to get a drink" and turned his head.

A buddy of mine was at a topless bar in Dallas that has pool tables. My buddy played Emmit and beat him. Emmitt walked up to him and said "now you have something to tell your friends about". Yup he's a prick.

Emmitt is a pretty good guy, but I have heard of him being exactly like this on occassion. Personally, I think he would have turned out like Deion Sanders or Michael Irvin if it wasn't for his mama putting the fear of God in him. She made him fly straight.
