No idea except:

2 Vandy grads live next door

I would break Memphis down this way:

25% Memphis
20% Ole Miss
20% UT
10% Arkansas
10% Alabama
5% MSU

10% Other

60% dont care
15% Hurricane fans
10% Gator fans
8% FSU
7% Other SEC teams. Bama probably has the least fans here of any SEC school. I see about 1 person in bama gear every couple of years. AU has the most for some reason. See an Aubie at least once a month. Seem to be quite a few former AU players down here as well.

Texas A&M and UTex top the list, tho.

Lot of OU stuff up here in the NW for sure. A neighbors house I drive by everyday has aggie stuff on his porch and mailbox. I always wonder if I call him a faggie whether he'll actually be flattered that I know that much about his schools culture.

You have Vandy way too high at 15%. Tennessee is higher than 30% for sure.

Coming to post this almost the same way.

There are a handful of Michigan and Michigan State fans here, due to auto industry transplants, but may only total to 1% max.

I will point out that once you get out in to Tuscaloosa County, the AU % rises some.

Bama is higher than 12. I don't see as many pure Kentucky fans. Nashville does have a ton of Bama football and Kentucky basketball fans unfortunately.

“I've seen way more State fans in Nash since I moved here than OM and Kentucky. At least those who display decals and such.”

Could be. I have noticed that myself.

I live in Nashville, a melting pot. So obviously there is going to be more divisions than most SEC communities. But how big a difference between Nashville and other communities is there?

Nashville

15% (don’t care), yet Nashville remains top 10 tv market for college football

30% Tennessee
15% Vanderbilt
12%. Alabama
6%. Kentucky
5%. Ole Miss
5%. Auburn
5% MTSU
7%. Other

I figured there would be more Bama fans than anything else in Nashville. Always seemed that way growing up. Used to have family there and spent a lot of time there in the 70's-90's.

As for Huntsville, AL about 50-50 split for people that grew up there between AU and UA.

With Redstone Arsenal and NASA being there, especially after the BRAC, a lot of Mid-Atlantic folks moved here so it is all over the map for the transplants that live in Huntsville metro area.
