Is it outside the realm of reason that Arkansas shouldn’t be around 24 or 25? They seem to be trending in the right direction. I think they will certainly curb stomp the whorns ranked what 21?

ESPN’s rankings have always been way off. They used to have LSU like #3 under Les. All we are returning I say 14 or 15 is fair. Bama is definitely #1 though. Georgia should be 5. Clemson 2

If UGA beats the tater tots week one, do they jump to first, assuming Bama easily handles no. 25 Miami?

No. Might jump to #2 right behind Alabama, though. Got to beat Clemson first, though. That's a tall order.

I also expect Florida to go higher since they got Gilbert. That softens the blow of losing Pitts by a lot.

He'll help but won't soften the blow of
losing Trask,Toney and Grimes.

Defense SHOULD be good to very good but
look who they got coaching em.

Not sure how they get past Bama,UGA or
LSU.

No, they still have some question marks. I'm not saying they will be just as good, simply that in some ways Gilbert should be able to do what Pitts did. he can catch and run with the ball. I felt like the key to their offense was having Pitts out there....but I'm not sure if Toney opened things up for Pitts or Pitts opened things up for Toney.

Emory Jones, (if he is the starter) will not be able to throw as well as Trask, but should be able to run it better.

I think Georgia and Alabama definitely beat them. I'll have to see what LSU does for a few weeks. I'm not sure they can come back as strong after last year. But....yes, LSU could possibly beat Florida, too.

I sure hope that's the same. Texas is supposed to play Louisiana to open the 2021 season in Austin.

Ed Orgeron:
“We’re going to beat Alabama's arse in recruiting. We’re going to beat their arse every time they see us"

Reality:

Ed Orgeron has never beaten Alabama in recruiting, according to 247 rankings, not even a single year.

Ed Orgeron is 1&4 vs Alabama, including a 55-17 beatdown the last game.

These rankings are a joke. And I would say the same if LSU was in the top 5. I would love to know what they're basing this off of. Clemson Loses Trevor Lawrence. How in the hell does ESPN put them at 1?

Bama is losing a lot of offensive production. They return nearly their entire defense which should help but the defense I think will need to help offense out first half of season. Met Joe and bolden are good but not close to smith and waddle. New QB and replacing two OL. I’d put Bama top 5 but not two.
