I predicted a 12-0 regular season in 2010 and a 7-5 season last year. I'm on fire when it comes to AU Football. Therefore, I'm gonna say 9-3 this year. With losses to LSU, Alabama, and either Arky or UGA.

This is what I predicted too when I looked at AU's schedule but that also made me realize that if AU loses to Bama and UGA then Chizik will be 1-3 vs. them. Will that heat up his seat or is he pretty much secured with his NC?

ESPN studio crew picks Auburn to go 6-6 (3-5) What did they have us last year? 5wins?

But, but, but...we won 8 games.

Alabama was "close" to not making it into the National Championship game. Do you really want to go down that road?

After a 5-7 season, expectations for Chiziks first year were low. Prediction by most 6 wins, Auburn goes 8-5.

Expectations were more varied, but 8 wins was the norm. Auburn goes 14-0

With most predicting a 5-7 and openly talking about this may be the first BCSNC to have a losing season immediately following it, Auburn goes 8-5. Folks after the season say what happened, Chizik can not coach.

Now in Chiziks 4th years, Auburn will again exceed expectations. We can beat anyone on our schedule and that includes LSU and Bama.

Good to hear they are loving it. They've earned it.

Same crew that last year said Auburn would win less games than Texas (5-7) did when they played in the championship game?

Meaning, if you're solely motivated to prove someone wrong because of what outside forces are saying weeks before the season, maybe you need new forms of motivation. But that's just me. That was the kind of shite I got tired of under Mike Shula. No internal motivation for his team.

From all reports, the players have been busting their arse working out and getting into the new play books this offseason. Most especially Kiehl Frazier.

I don't think you have to worry your pointy little head about the source of the Auburn player's motivations.

We have 5 backs that should be decent with McCalebb, Mason, Blakely, Grant, and Robinson. I don't think any are as good as Dyer, but we'll be ok at that position.

I like how every year MSU fans truly think they will beat us...I'm sure some year they eventually will, and after that, they will be unbearable about how they're so smart bc they predicted it...MSU fans are worse than Ole Miss fans after 2008, except OM actually accomplished something on the field

It will heat up some, but I think the vast majority of the fanbase, and especially those writing his paycheck, realize that this year is another year for growth and rebuilding. That's not to say we can't have a pretty good year(8+ wins). Less than that will get some unhappy rumblings, especially if there's no improvement, but we've definitely got our work cut out for us this year.

If we fall flat in 2013 and 2014, that's when the seat will start to get hot.

I think you Auburn fans are really down playing the loss of Malzahn

That's because I was never a huge fan of his offense. I'm glad we're going pro-style, and Loeffler has a better record developing QBs, which is needed right now. We'll be ok
