I'm usually not one to hate on announcers and I think that it's a way harder job than people think, but listening to RG3 for more than 5 seconds is cringe-worthy.
It's like he really really wants his Brother Card and just speaks in what he perceives to be re-tweetable pop culture catch phrases and trendy football lingo. Tries way too hard.

There is no commentator I hate to hear calling a game more than Joe Tessitore. Everything is overstatement, and he always wants to steal the moment with some cute little turn of phrase. I hate self-important commentators. A lot of them could learn from the late Vin Scully.

Des was cool back in the day, but I think even he is tired of doing this. He just comes off like he doesn’t give a shite, and when he does you can tell it’s all scripted. Not a fan, I think he needs to ride off into the sunset.
