And 2022 had half the tornado casualties that 2002 boasted.
Those numbers vary wildly year to year but have generally trended downward as the warning system has improved.
There's also a larger population now.

Now do a map from 2004 showing all housing developments and then a map from 2024 showing all housing developments.
The population where tornados are most prevalent was over 20% higher in 2024 than it was in 2004. Texas has by far the most tornadoes of any state annually. Texas’ population grew 41% between 2004 and 2024. All those people have to live somewhere. These new subdivisions, apartment complexes and trailer parks have to go somewhere, typically places that used to be uninhabited. When a tornado rolled through there in 2004 there was no one there. Now, there is someone there. The more people there are, and the more spread out they are, the more likely it is a storm will directly impact or even kill people. That has more to do with statistics than it does meteorology.

Lol, we are five years apart. You’re not going to be in your 40s much longer, my young friend.

I love post Saban Bama fans. The legitimately think DeBoo is a championship caliber coach

One hit wonder who couldn't even beat shifty michigan
Ryan day isn’t a great coach. I think osu won in spite of him, I don’t think he did anything other than inherit a phenomenal roster that looked uninspired all year. Mich pulled their pants down and embarrassed them in the final game which is what lit the fuse in the players. 2019 shoulda beat Clemson choked, 2022 shoulda beat uga choked, didn’t even show up for the natty in 20 or any of the last four Michigan games.

How do you put Deboer in there after what he did last year?
The media will prop him up a little longer.

Don't have any problem with the top 8. The order could use a little rearranging.
Gold, Silver and Bronze are pretty spot on.

He took over a program that had went 32-5 (.864) over the previous three seasons, and he has went 33-9 (.785) over his first three.
I give Freeman somewhat of a pass for his first year. ND fans had been saying that Kelly did a shite job recruiting towards the end and the talent level wasn’t as good as Kelly’s last few years, and they were right. I looked it up, but in Freeman’s first year, only 3 players got selected in the next NFL draft. Their QB room was Tyler Buchner and Drew Pyne, who are both awful, so Freeman got screwed by both Kelly and the OC, who ironically was Tommy Rees. In the draft after his 2nd year, over half of their draft picks were in the 5th-7th rounds. That is terrible.

This includes a loss he was directly responsible for (not having 11 men on the field), a loss to a pitiful Stanford team that may as well have been a G5, and two upsets by actual G5 schools.
What’s interesting is Freeman seems to lose a game each year that he shouldn’t, but he’ll be more competitive or even beat teams that have equal or better talent. Kelly seemed to almost always beat teams he was supposed to beat, but he almost always lost to teams with equal talent, and outside of one win with an asterisk, he always lost to teams with better talent. Many of those losses were blowouts. His best win at ND was probably Clemson in the COVID year, but that was a fraud win because Clemson was banged up and Lawrence didn’t play. Clemson bent ND over in the ACC Championship Game when Lawrence came back.

6. Dan Lanning, Oregon
Huh? Anyone with half of a brain could have success at Oregon with Phil Knight’s checkbook. They drop the biggest bag for pretty much every recruit they go after.

James Franklin, Penn State
Can someone please explain ESPN’s obsession with Franklin? He never beats teams with equal or better talent. His record against top 5 opponents is 1-18, and against top 10 he’s 3-17.

How do you leave off Hugh Freeze after he had that one pretty good season back in 2015? List is trash.

I love that LSU fans don’t realize that if Brian Kelly loses in Ttown this year, there is essentially zero chance that he will end his career with a winning record against the coach they love to make fun of.
Anyone think BK is going to win 3 straight against DeBoer after starting 0-2 before “choosing” retirement? Not going to happen.
If Kirby loses in Athens, he’s got a shot at climbing out of an 0-2 hole but it won’t be easy. Especially since we won’t play them in the regular season again for some time.
Sark is already in an 0-2 hole against DeBoer, but he’s got time and we should have them rolling onto the schedule in the coming years.
Lanning’s 0-3 hole is probably too much, unless he comes to the SEC or DeBoer ends up in the Big Ten. Don’t think he’ll have enough at bats to go +4 in the next 10-15 years.
